I have gone here twice and it is really not worth the trip. The parking is a nightmare on weekends, your best bet is to go down a block or two then walk back rather than try to get into the parking lot.
As far as the merchandise is concerned, they do have some name brand athletic shoes but most of what you find here is similar to what you find when you go to a Tijuana market. Clothing is second rate and cheap and there is not much else.
This store is overly crowded so that you have it is difficult to wind your way thru the store. While they did have a couple of unique pieces they are overpriced for what is offered. It is difficult to find sales people and parking is non existent. I would have liked to buy a dining set here but can find a better deal elsewhere. They send out weekly flyers but the store does not live up to the ad
I visited this center to get a second opinion. While it is a bit of a drive and traffic on the way back is a nightmare, it can be worth the drive. Many patients in his office swore by him and he has many articles published on his works as well as endorsements from Christopher Reeve on his walls.
His staff was always kind and they delivered the reports I needed within six weeks when they normally take much longer.
I visited Dr. Schiffman several times before deciding to have another surgeon perform the surgery. He has a very kind staff but you often have to wait for a long time. The doctor spends little time with you and you never develop any type of relationship with him. The office has adequate parking though it can be difficult to find a space on Wednesdays due to the farmer's market.
This orthopaedic doctor is located in the Doheny Eye Institute building at the USC center. This was my first visit and though there was a bit of a wait the doctor was very kind and spent quite a bit of time with me. He is very interested in hearing all issues that are concerning you and unlike many sits and actually listens.
This service station is competively priced and has a small store with snacks and soft drinks. It offers a car wash with cheaper prices with gas purchase. The wait time can be a little long on weekends. The reason I like this wash is that there is a timer on the dryer so that you know exactly how much longer you have so that you can get those windows spot free!
This is a small branch library. They have too few computer terminals for the demand made by the numerous kids who come in to use them. They do have a large childrens section and the staff is vigilent about watching that adults without children are not lurking.
They have a small book store located inside and the staff is really friendly and helpful.
There is a parking lot that is locked at night and a small park outside.
This is the closest local branch to my home and they recently did a renovation. They added many computer terminals and have a section that has "kid friendly" computers so that inappropriate content cannot be accessed.
They have a courteous helpful staff and small parking lot on the side. There recently has been a large homeless group of people move on the side street but with public support this should be taken care of soon.
I rarely go to this store, it is located near a very busy intersection and getting in and out of the too small parking area is not only problematic but dangerous. Registers are located directly in front of the door and the store is cramped and messy. They do not have as much merchandise as other stores and what they do have is poorly placed. I can never find a shopping cart here but then the aisles are too narrow to use them. There are too many of these type of stores to go to this one.
I usually run in here when I need to buy a bag of ready made salad and do not have time to go to the grocery store. I always spend more than I intended because they always have different items. If you have a favorite cookie or snack and it is discontinued then you can stock up often times here. A good place to buy seasonal goods such as holiday wrapping paper or decorations. Entrances at both the front and back with registers at each help keep the lines manageable. Parking is located at the side and rear to avoid using metered parking in front.
