Jim specializes in gold and silver jewelry repair and appraisals. He also sells jewelry and if he doesn?t have it will order it for you. You can bring in your jewelry and he?ll clean it for you on the spot. No charge. Repairs and purchase prices are a little on the high side. But the response is quick. Quaint little shop. Located at the east end of downtown Harbor Springs. Limited hours so call before stopping by.

Bill can do all sorts of work for you. He likes to buy houses, fix them up and then sell them. So he comes with many talents. Loves to do tile work. And does a really nice job. Meticulous at getting it exactly right. Works while he?s in your house and doesn?t feel the need to constantly talk. He wants to get his job done. Also accurate in his quotes. I wasn?t surprised in the end with a few hundred dollars were needed. Which means he can accurately assess your needs. Very appreciated!
George does everything from snow removal to fences. He runs his own gutter/fence company but does handyman work on the side. He is truly gifted, but will stop short of major carpentry work. He?s competitively priced. And will fit you in when you?re in a pinch. He is very knowledgeable in many areas and if he can?t help you he will tell you who/where to go to get your project complete. Very friendly. Can talk a lot!
I hired Rick because a referral from a friend. Rick can do lots of things ? from changing a lock to laying tile. He works three days a week do handyman-type services. He is very nice, trustworthy and honest. He?ll let you know if he can?t do something. And offers suggestions of what you might do. He is also very clean. It was refreshing to a service ?type person actually pick up after themselves. He?s also always on time! Don?t feel bad about asking him for what you think is a super easy task. He does them without batting an eye!
What a neat spot. This place is one of the oldest restaurants in Royal Oak. It?s dark inside, but serves great food. Be sure to try their ribs ? they?re fantastic. Surprisingly so this is a hot spot for young professionals? happy hour. It was packed. They are also now catering to the younger crowd by offering a sushi lounge. Attached to the main restaurant they offer small plates and sushi. It?s fun. In the lounge you?ll also find TVs so you can keep up with the latest sports scores. Prices are moderate. Not super expensive.
What a wonderful place. Locally owned, this store has so much to offer. They have plenty of fabrics and accessories to choose from. They offer all sorts of classes throughout the year. They?re service is impeccable. Always willing to assist. Their classes fill up fast, so get in early. Prices are on the higher site, but you?re getting a quality experience and quality materials. Located just south of downtown on Main Street.
This restaurant is fantastic! Be sure to try the zip sauce when ordering a filet. Needless to say the filet will melt in your mouth. Great menu, great service. They were very accommodating to our larger party. They stayed on top of everything. Prices are moderate, but seriously worth it. This is one of the places where you?ll be talking about your meal well after you?ve left. Great atmosphere too. Come in off the streets of downtown Rochester and you?ll almost feel like you?ve escaped to somewhere else. It has wonderful art throughout the restaurant. They also a wonderful job at hosting showers/parties.
This salon is located right in downtown Royal Oak. It?s trendy and hip to the current ideas in hairstyle. They have lots of stylists and stations so they?re great at fitting you in when you?re in a pinch. They stay open late too ? 11pm on Thursdays! They?ll offer you wine as well to really help you enjoy the experience. Lots of energy in this place. It?s buzzin?. The inside is really cool too. All very modern. Plenty of magazines and hair magazines to keep you occupied as you?re getting beautified!
When I moved back to the area, Erna showed me all around. She was great ? as a first time buyer, she helped distinguish good from bad, fixer-upper from beyond repair. She assisted me throughout the entire process. Provided me with new listings on a daily basis and was there to help with all of the closing paperwork. She also offers a referral program where if you refer people to her, she?ll enter you in a drawing for travel certificates. She works for Re-Max. She also was good at getting the seller to agree to things that weren?t a part of the inspection.
