When our Honda needs repairs, we always plan on the service taking at least a week. At Danny's we had our car back in just two days. He took the time to carefully explain the problem and suggest routine maintenance that would keep our car running well. The location is great, and the prices are fair.
I appreciated the folks at Circle H for making me feel like a real human. Even though I don't know anything about mufflers, they carefully explained to me what I needed and what I didn't. They performed my car's service quickly and the price was cheaper than the other two estimates I got.
I chose this tanning salon because of the cheap price ($20 per month). What I didn't know is that I would wait at least 30 minutes to tan every time I went it...even when I had an "appointment." The staff was always apologetic, and the salon seemed very clean. I did think the bulbs could have been a little hotter.
I dropped in one day after shopping at Sam's Club (they share a parking lot), and was pleasantly surprised at the fast, thorough service I received. I spent a great deal of time in the massaging pedicure chair, and the lady did a great job on my toes. The prices seemed very reasonable, and the location can't be beat!
I visited Sheltons once for a haircut and color and payed dearly for it! True, it was a great style, the atmosphere was fun and upbeat, and the stylist was knowledgeable, but it put a major dent in my pocketbook. They offer waxing, hair, nails, and a wide variety of other services. It's great if you can afford it!
While walk-ins are welcome, don't expect any great service. My manicure and pedicure were over in 45 minutes. It usually takes at least twice that much time. The nail techs were hard to communicate with, and I ended up with the wrong color of polish. They did not spend much time shaping my nails. The price was cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for!
I found the accomodations at Red River Ranch to be very basic. The carpet, paint, and furnishings were OK, but they could already use some updating. The workout center and pool were nice and accessible. The management was always helpful. It's a great place to live if you don't want anything fancy.
The Grand Slam Gift Shop is exactly what you'd expect to find in a MLB park: team merchandise with high prices. The selection was better than most places like this, but the prices seemed outrageous. The store was packed during the game, so I didn't have much interaction with the employees. We found a couple of Rangers souvenirs, but that was about all I could afford.
I found the best cinnamon candle I have ever smelled at Apple Annies. It is priced a little higher than I would usually pay, but the quality is worth it. They have rows of gift items and collectibles. The selection is great, the staff is friendly, and the parking (off Harwood) is easy.
I recently purchased new stationery at Country Club Collectibles and have been thrilled with its attractiveness and quality. They offer a wide variety of papers, envelopes, imprints, etc. The staff was very friendly and helped me choose just the thing. The store is very attractive and easily accessible.
