Mallon Ford
I went here to purchase parts for my tsb on my ford minivan. They had what I needed instock. The prices were actually a bit cheaper than I planned on spending for the parts. My only complaint is noone knew if the parts in the box were complete. I thought one was missing and even the repair guys couldnt tell me. They had to call another dealership to find out but they did find out. Everything was there by the way.
Fun Cuts Inc
These people are GREAT at what they do. The place is fun and inviting. My children love to go and they are great even with first timers. The price according to age of your child and for the younger ones it is definitely kinda expensive but you dont have to worry about walking out with half a haircut.
Leonard E. Loflin, DDS
I hate the dentist but this one is different. The staff is friendly and caring. The doc is great too. Nice and gentle. Appointments are easy to make. They try to work with you when its convenient for you. I cant comment on the pricing because my visits have been covered completely by our insurance but I am sure they are well priced as well.
Chambers Creek Veterinary Hospital
This hospital is great. The staff is great, the care is excellent. You can get appointments fairly easy and the prices are not outrageous like alot of other nearby vets. We have not been there in case of an emergency as of yet and hope not too but I would definitely trust them if the need does arise for us.
VCA Animal Hospital
We took our little dogs in for their shots. The vet pushed wormer at us and rolled her eyes when we didnt buy her flea meds (at twice the price we normally pay). Their hours are excellent and they seem to give good care just seem a bit money driven more than they should be.
Riverbend Campground
This is a great place to camp. At first we were a bit skeptical when we drove up but then we were pleasantly surprised when we made our way to the campground. Relaxing and fun. Pitch a tent, make a campfire, roast some marshmallows and have a good weekend. Lacey isnt far off if you need some shopping as well.
Hands On Childrens Museum
This museum has excellent hands on exhibits. It will definitely spark some imagination. Lots of knobs to turns, trinkets to play with, etc. Definitely a great place to let your kids explore and learn. They have special homeschool days if you homeschool where you can get in free. They also have other promotions as well but normal everyday prices are not bad either.
Pierce County Library
This library has lots of books (of course) but so much more. They offer great reading clubs for the kids to join in on. We homeschool so we definitely take advantage of these clubs and the boys really really enjoy it. I also find the books I want to read and if they dont have it they are happy to get it for you on interlibrary loan.
Enchanted Parks
Need I say more?? This place has lots of fun things for you and your family to enjoy. My kids love to go here. It is a bit expensive but it makes a nice treat once in awhile. Lots of fun rides and attractions. It is sometimes hard to find parking but not impossible.
Northwest Trek Wildlife Park
This place is so cool. You can walk around and check out animals and then get on an hour long tram ride to check out animals in their habitat on free roam. We saw moose, buffalo, mountain goats, and lots of other animals. The tram operator also tells you about the history of the trees, etc which we found very interesting.
