I have had 2 positive experiences with the birth of both my boys. Both labor nurses were amazing- which is the most important part as the doctors only come at the last minute. The Labor and Delivery room has all the equipment there and some rooms have large bath tubs for delivery. They then move you to your hospital room which are all one person. They are large and have a pull out chair sofa for your husband to spend the night. They have very good security as all infants have a locking device on their leg that if they go anywhere near the door, the alarm goes off.
PROS: Great Staff and very good security- guests don't pay parking.
I have been going to Rainbow now for 4 years and every time I feel like I have gotten really good service. For wash out and vacuum and windows cleaned for a little over 10.00, you can not beat the time or effiency of this place. They usually have 2 people vacuuming car and than it goes through wash and other 2 men get in and do the windows and doors. They then take car up a hill and 2 men do a final dry and detail. Every time it has been the same high quality service and they demand no tips.
We took our sons in the first week of October to Shaw farms and this is the best place for everyone. It is a family run farm with tractor and horse hayrides that take you through the pumpkin patches with halloween witches and ghosts all using pumpkins- nothing frightening though. They have an enormous corn maze that we did not do for fear of losing our kids but had a little town for them to play in. This will be a family tradition for we found it so much fun and very affordable. Please support this farm.
PROS: This is the Good Old Days of Great Family Fun
My son went with his preschool with me as an escort to Sunrock farms in the beginning of November. Even though it was very cold, we were thankful they had heated barns. The staff was very informative on the animals and tried to get the kids outdoors but being so cold, the kids wanted to stay inside. I thought it was a bit expensive - 8.00 per person.
PROS: Great Farm for little ones
This is an artist gem- They have beautiful and unique fabrics from all over the world- Fabrics you can only get at this store. They also have wonderful beads that you can make into necklaces/jewerly there or can incorporated into something else. Get on their mailing list for they do have sales periodically for they are a bit expensive. But what do you expect from such high quality items.
PROS: All Quilters must check this place out.
I wanted to continue yoga with my baby and the first yoga program was for babies not yet really moving. The teacher is very flexible and relax as your little one has a mind of its own. It was great for the mom for the teacher did exercises that were fun for the babies but using them as weights to tone mom. I love this class and was sad to see it end when my little one was no longer interested in yoga but in playing with other the babies.
PROS: Very Good teacher
I loved the teacher of this yoga class. I took it for 10 weeks- up until the last 2 weeks before delivering and they give you one free pass for the baby yoga. The stretchs are geared towards your pregnancy and the teacher uses low lighting and music and you feel very flexible. I believe this made my labor very easy as I had only to push twice before my little came and my recovery was very quick. I loved the baby yoga but go before they are mobile which is before 6 months.
PROS: Excellent program for Pregnant Women
This is a very professional clinic- You feel like you are at your doctor's office. Very clean and on time. Our main reason for switching vets is that they are very costly. Do not expect to go out the door under a 100 for a general visit. We were impressed with all the vets - they have 5 and we had 3 different ones.
PROS: Very Professional, Good Care
CONS: Very Expensive
My son just loves his preschool. This is a headstart program that is run by University of CIncinnati. It has specialists- one we use for speech. It provides a snack and full lunch for a half a day- 8.15- 11.45am. If you want a program more geared towards education, this is the preschool.
PROS: Excellent staff, Excellent specialists
CONS: A little high in price
Usually we always have emergencies on weekends when our vets are not available and this was recommend. We had to take our Basset here twice and both times the lead vet was very professional and called back later in the day to check on our dog. I would give it a 5 but the clinic is not as clean or updated as I would like it to be.
