This flower shop has been around for over 35 years. My mom's been using them since I was a kid and I've been using them for the last several years as well. Their prices are fantastic and they are extremely helpful in picking out just the right bouquet, corsage or potted plant.
When my grandmother died, we use Jaeger. I found that this family owned business (since the 1800's) was extremely helpful with the details that need to be taken care of when a loved one has passed. I would definitely recommend them to you.
This Catholic Church is worth going to just to see its stained glass windows. They are absolutely beautiful. This is a friendly parish that has a variety of times for mass as well as Sunday School. One of the most beautiful churches I've ever seen.
This is a fantastic dry cleaner. No only do they dry clean clothes getting stains out that I thought would never come out, they also have a one hour service and also preserve clothing, like wedding dresses and christening gowns. All of this at reasonable prices. It doesn't ge any better than that.
An excellent resource for legal temporary positions. They specialize in the long term, temporary to permanent position and all of their clients are exceptional. This is a great service to sign on with.
As of the largest zoos in the country, Brookfield means walking and lots of it. They have large variety of animals, educational programs and the dolphin show, my kids and I had a fantastic time. I would definately recommend the tram to see some of the park as there is no way you can cover it all in one day with kids. I'd say we did about 75% and the kids were exhausted.
A world class museum with fantastic exhibits, this museum has something for everyone in the family. With exhibits containing beautiful jewels, to Sue, the T-Rex, to ancient mummies and pyramids, nobody will get bored here. There is quite a lot of ground to cover, so expect a lot of walking.
The Cultural Center while not large, does provide some interesting exhibits of local interest. Showing a variety of media (photos, paintings, etc.), the center also has dance and theater programs as well. The LunchBreak Series, a series of free lunchtime concerts is great for a bit of culture in the afternoon.
With great exhibits like Stars of the Pharaohs and the Liberty Bell 7, the Planetarium offers a fun look at space and astronomy that everyone can find accessible. As always, the Sky Theater is a fun treat that even your littlest tot will enjoy.
Don't be put off by the body piercings and wild hair styles of those cutting your hair. They are professional, informative and I've never had a better haircut. Quick and efficient, they know what they're doing and do it well. I'd definitely recommend this hair studio to anyone looking for a great haircut.
