i do all my shopping now at trader joe's, I can never laeve without buying half the store so don't even try using a hand basket- you'll break your arm!
Starbucks
Starbuucks is my saviour in the morning. My fav is the iced mocha but iced lattes with syrup are quite yummy too, I often like cinnamon. Plus Starbucks are everywhere!
Planned Parenthood - Lakewood Health Center
I really like going to planned parenthood because they provide a really valuable service to the community, especially for teens and lower SES populations.
See's Candies Chocolate Shop
Mrs. Field's is the original and their cookies are great. My favorite is the chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies- especially if you get there when they've just come out of the oven!
Taco Mesa
Food here is great and the place is often pretty crowded. I hear the tortas are especially yummy although I'm not a big sandwich person so I haven't had them personally.
Wahoo's Fish Taco
I really like Wahoo's- cool atmosphere too. The onion rings are so good, just the right sweetness and crunchiness without being super greasy. The rice is good too.
Tito's Tacos
Make sure you allow plenty of time to get food here- it's always packed and people order loads of food! The tacos are quite good and really inexpensive. I recommend adding cheese too.
California Pizza Kitchen
I love CPK- great pizza! My favorite is the 5 cheese and tomato with honey wheat dough. Also try the flavored lemonade, fresh and tasty. Make sure you hit this place soon!
Diddy Riese Cookies
This place is the bomb- where else can you find cookies this good for so cheap! 2 cookies and milk or 2 cookies with ice cream between them for only $1!
