Futon World

While highly advertised, it makes it sound better than it actually is. The prices are high and the quality of the products is questionable. While I am ad avid futon lover, I would go somewhere where I could research first.

Don Juan's Casablanca Jewelry

I think of jewlers as people that you are supossed to trust. Going in there made me feel uneasy, and the displays looked old and in need of repair. Definitley go somewhere else.

Island Waterpark

While convienant (you can see the waterpark from hwy 99) it lacks real, actual shade. That being said be sure and wear water shoes or your feet will definitley get sunburned. The crowds also make this place very unplesant.

D & L Roses-Cedar & Shaw

This small little shop caters to those at Fresno state. The selection is basic: roses and the babys breath. If you are looking for something more specific, go somewhere else. This place caters to those that want something all ready to go for them

Chase Bank

The bank itself offers a lot of things that other banks don't: free checking, etc. But the staff is great as well. Attentive and they make sure you are taken care of before you leave. There is no rushing out the door here!

Trader Joe's

Traders joes is great for expanding your taste in foods. Not only is it vegetarian friendly, but vegan as well- offering many different types of non-dairy cheeses, soy products and tofu.
It is also great for the non-vegetarian.

Tower Records

Tower records orginated up north, and the orginal stores (in Sacramento CA) have a great repore with the community.
However down here, it is a different question.
The prices are horrible and while it is a good selection, it is not worth buying anything.

Leonardis Pizza

The prices are the main draw here. The prices make other competitors cringe because they really are that good. The selection is surprisingly good as well. I was surprised to find a whole freezer of veggie-friendly items.
The service is not bad as well- which is surprising considering the prices. My husband and I make the trip from fresno to get these great deals.

Vons

Vons is excels at customer service. The employees are clean cut, helpful, and friendly. They never hesitate to help you find what you need. (And the florist is great!) However the prices make you cringe. The sales are not really sales at all- it simply lowers the price to a more normal level.
Good for one or two things, but not for all of your grocery shopping

Willow Lake Apartments

A huge apartment complex, repairs take forever and the management is stuffy and judgemental. Favorites are played based on the management, and complaints go unanswered and unresolved.
Prices go up to the point of being illegal.
