Asian food is great catered for large pargties. I order Mandarin Restaurant for Catering all the time. They make great meals for me and my family. I even had them for my 30th birthday once - they were spectacular. Everybody commented on their food and asked for their contact info.
Btw, their eggrolls are to die for!!!!! and beef is great in any form or shape
My work has ordered food and services from Big City Catering on several occassions and I really liked those festivities. We usually lots of tasty food, especially the entrees. I liked the veggy things - it is hard to make well-tasting veggies - and they managed to get them perfect! I highly suggest Big City Catering to others.
Our furnace went bad and I didn't really do any search to find a reputable furnace specialist store - and so I wnet to the first one I saw - Discount Furnaces. I got lucky and I was shown what kind of furnace I needed and told that the price is really reasonable. I bought a new furnace for less then what I expected and now I don't have to worry about it anymore
EVen though Cherins Appliance seems to carry appliences at lower the Sears price cost - they are RUDE. Everyone working there is super rude. They know they have lower prices and they treat their customers like crap because they know that they will not go anywhere else. Well, I did because I just could not stend their rude salespeeople whome we had to wait 20 minutes to talk to because he was "busy" flipping papers.
I was recomended House Of Louie Appliance Center for their prices and selection but I found their service horrible. I have faced one of their salesperson and told them that I found a particular stove at a lower price on the internet and he said that the price I can buy it in their store is the lowest that I will find anhywhere in SF. He was wrong and I did buy a stove at another small shop for 10% less.
I make my own cards and gifts sometimes and I always visit Paper Tree to buy my crafts supplies. Paper Tree is family-owned and I like the fact that they ar not a frenchise. The store feels much more intimate then Utrech for example. I always find unique finds in there - and always end up witha huge charge on my Visa when I leave
I have once gotten a ring and was told that it was from Wo Yick Company on Grant. Well, you just have to see that peice of art. The ring is real and sparkles under any sun ray. It is beautiful and unique and soooo light - I don't feel like i am wearing anything when i have it on. I love that ring and plan to make a visit to Wo Yick Company some day soon - very soon
Because you cannot trust pearls just to anyone, you have to go to Yokoo Pearls to buy yours. They sell really quality perls at OK prices. I have heard that perls carry personalty with them - so choose your perls carefully and only buy yours at the Yokoo Pearls on Post Street in SF. Prepare to spend time on parking, though
There are LOTS of jewelry stores at 888 Brannan. One of the good ones worth a trip is --> Z Jewelry. You can often spend very little money on something that looks really authentic and expansive. I bought myself a ring there and I always get complements on its uniqueness. I alwaus go to Z whenever I am in 888 Brannan
I have made numerous purchases ar the Aaa Jewelry & Gift Company. Not only do they sell jewelry - they also sell really nice gifts appropriate for birthdays events. I go there just to browse as well - I always get great ideas for future events. I didn't want to give away my little store secret - but I thought I'd be too greedy not to share :) Oh, and did I say that you will often spend less here then at Macy's?
