I used to take my shirts and pants to 14th Street & So van Ness Laundry all the time when I worked on the 14th Street. Our building did not offer us dry cleaning services and somebody at work recomended me 14th Street & So van Ness Laundry. Realy, they did me a huge favor - I loved how well pressed and clean my clothes got returned to me. I used their services all the time.
I love goign to 123 Wash & Dry. I really get my clothes cleanest in this laudry and the freshest as well. I hardly ever need to fill up more machines then 1 because their machines are pretty roomy - and this saves me $$$$. I highly recomend 123 Wash & Dry to anyone that lives or works in the neighborhood.
I have heard numerous comercials of The Walk Shop on the radio - on Alice radio station and went to check it out. I found a lot of pairs of most comfortable shoes - that was also really good looking. I bought a pair of sandals - I am really happy with them.
I have only sold my used clothes to this store but have not purchased anything there. When shopping there, I noticed that the prices were not terribly low - I get a much better deal at garage sales. But when selling my old items, I get pretty good money for it, however the clothes must be in perfect condition and brand namish.
I was shopping at this store when buying dresses for my bridesmaids. I purchased 3 beautiful dresses in purple for $300 total. My brides were very happy :)
I went to Ambiance because it is widely advertised on the radio. The store was nice and carried a lot of really interesting pieces for women: tops were the best. However, I left without purchasing anything for the prices were not too low
My cousin has wondered into this store - and she is a queen of shopping - and she loved the store and called me up to come and shop there. I went and purchased 2 really nice tops for $20 total.
Darla's Baby Boutique has the cutest little outfits for the most precious little baby. I bought so many items there for my little girl and she was always the best dressed kid in a stroller!!!!
Citikids is one of the largest baby stores in the Bay Area. Located on Clement with very little parking around, it has everything one can wish for to buy a new baby: strollers, cribs, clothes, bottles, etc..
Kinokuniya Bookstore must be the nicest if not the only asian (japanese) bookstore in San Francisco. Located in gthe Japanese part of the city, it has a great selection of theme books. Parking is tough - so be prepared - or park in the paid parking structure
