Cathedral Hill Hotel
Hotel parking is very expensive, $20 a night. The location is convenient and the hotel has a lot of amenities. The mattress was firm, but the room was clean, although small, and the lobby was quite nice. The carpet in our room was a little stained. The sitting chair was old. I think the hotel in general could use some new furniture.
Hotel Palomar San Francisco
The room was small, but nice. The beds and sheets were incredibly comfortable. Our room didnt really have a lot of closet and drawer space though. The hotel is beautiful and is very well furnished. The hotel is convenient to transportation, including the bart and muni stations. It is also close to the movies, shopping, Union Square, etc. The restaurant in the hotel is exceptional.
Hotel Abri Union Square
The room was a little dated. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially those at the front desk. It was a little hard to sleep during the night because of the street noise. The hotel is close to the trolley, cable cars, Union Square, and shopping.
Galleria Park Hotel
Parking was ridiculously expensive. The beds in our room were small. The service here was terrific, staff was attentive and helpful. The lobby was nice and even had a fireplace. The location is good, hotel is just a couple blocks from Union Square. The pillows were firm and not very comfortable.
Good Hotel San Francisco Hotels
I didnt really like the location, there were homeless people all around the hotel. However, if you walk to Union Square, which is just a few blocks away, it is much better. Parking here is cheap and pretty convenient. The room was nice and clean, but the shower was tiny. The staff was attentive and courteous.
Warwick Hotel
The room was small, but it was comfortable. The location is great, the hotel is close to Union Square, theater, and shopping. The staff was attentive and helpful. I didnt like that there was no closet space and overall very little storage space. I liked that there was a paper at my door each morning.
The Mosser Hotel San Francisco Hotels
The rooms here are small, spotlessly clean, and contain Internet access. The hotel is within walking distance from all of San Franciscos attractions, as well as shopping and restaurants. The staff were nice and helpful and gave us directions and info about getting around the city. The decor of the room and the bathroom was very tasteful. Room rates are very affordable as well!
Maxwell Hotel
Our room was average-sized, and it wasnt anything special. The staff didnt really make an effort to be helpful or courteous. The hotel is centrally located, and there is dining, shopping, and attractions nearby. The bathroom was clean but it was dated. Parking was a bit of a hassle, as there is no parking on the site.
Taj Campton Place
Our room was not very spacious, but it was relatively well-appointed. Service here is terrific and the staff is very polite and courteous. This hotel is a private, quiet place, but the location is still hard to beat. The food here is fantastic. The hotel, in general, was spotlessly clean. The beds here were also extremely comfortable, I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud.
Hotel Carlton
Hotel Carlton was recently renovated. The staff here are extremely friendly and polite. Parking was difficult as a parking space was hard to find. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Our room was not soundproof, but it was still relatively quiet. The hotel is in a great location, near the cable cars, restaurants, and shopping.
