I was looking for a nice mountain bike called Specialized and so I went to Bicycle Connection. They have all selections andif they do not have it in stock, they can order for you. The store is small but jam packed with bikes. Their prices are very competitive and the best time is to purchase near the end of the year to get discounts. The store can be easily missed but once you find it they have large parking at the back of the store. They also have a friendly staff who also fixes bikes.
This is very good Italian Resturant. They have all types of italian food and what I like the most is their Calamari apetizer, Nioki, pastas and also their mushroom raviolis. Their steaks are also very good. My friend who's Italian advises it's not true Italian food but said it's very good nontheless.
I use to go to Jamba Juice every morning before work but now I stop going. Last year the staff was excellent and was very friendly but now they have an entirely new staff who doesn't know what their doing and one time I had to wait a long time and people who ordered after me received their drinks first. Another time, they didn't secure the lid on the smoothie and when I grabbed it from the middle of the cup, the lid came off and the smoothie spilled. The smoothie is excellent but the service is poor.
I've been to Bahama Breeze several times for lunch but never for dinner. For lunch, it's very quiet and very relaxing atmosphere. I like their chicken wing appetizers and their onion rings are huge! I've had their wood burning pizza, salads and kabobs and I thought all were good. The kabobs were alittle well done for my taste but next time I ordered medium rare and it was perfect. The portions are generous and I thought the waitresses were very nice. I also like their lemon breeze drink.
I love Indian Crafts and I was in the area not too long ago and they had some very nice collections of pottery, drum and other native american crafts. I remember they had some drum sets that was made with the famous kokopelli and other animal prints. What they also had and I bought was small carpets that was with indian characters. Their prices were very reasonable and I came out with some nice items that help decorate my office.
I really like southwestern arts and crafts and I found Southwest Trading Company. What I most like are Indian Pottery and they have some good collection, especially for Chicago area. They have various prices depending on the tribe or artist and you can get almost anything that you would like here. They also have carving work and also southwestern dolls that are also very unique and interesting. I will be going here more often eventhough it's alittle way away from where I live.
When I got a Rolex for my birthday, the band was too large so I went to Naperville Jewelers to have some links taken off. I was very suprised how nice this place was and they had some very nice items. They had all types of beautiful rings and diamond necklesses. The staff was very nice and not arrogant as some I've been too. They took care of my watch and the price was better than some chain jewerly stores and took them a few minutes.
This is a very unique store that caters to new and hot products that are just out in the market or in TV informercials. They have your ab machines that you see on TV to unique pillows and gadgets that you have probably never seen or heard of. They have everything that you can think of that you see in late night infomercials and they have them at good prices. This is one store that I always go to see when I visit this mall.
Yorktown Mall is your typical mall that is average. They don't have fancy shops such as Oakbrook but they have good stores with good prices. I like Yorktown because they have American Outfitters that some malls don't have. They also have your basic department stores such as jcpennys and carsons. They do have a nice food court and I usually stop by whenever a group of us go there. They have a huge parking lot and usually the mall isn't that crowded outside of the holidays.
I've been to this indoor golf course many times over the years and it's a fun place especially for kids. The place is pretty big and the children will love the fun road blocks on the putting area. You can also plan for company parties but it's more for kids. They also have food such as pizza and pop. Each putting hole is different with a different theme. They are open 7 days a week and they have a large lot for parking. Very easy to find as you can't miss the building.
