No visit to Pittsburgh is complete without a trip on the incline. As you ride up and down Mt Washington you see beautiful views of the city and the rivers. Outlooks on the top are great too!
A nice day trip. There is a lot to do here. The animals are seen in their "natural" habitat. There is also an indoor aquarium with all kinds of sea creatures. Nice playground in the kids area.
Once upon a child is a great consignment store. They will buy your used clothes from you for a fair price and have a hug offering of used clothes and toys. All the clothes they sell are in great shape.
Of course the kids have a great time. Lots to do from rides to games to climbing! The food is not that great (for the adults) but you don't go there for the food!
Olive garden has great Italian food! I have never been disappointed there. From the salad to the dessert- very good. Usually have to wait- but worth it!
A great place to hang out and enjoy the Guiness. You can usually enjoy live Irish music. Good food and a nice place to have a good time with friends.
Station Square is an old train station converted into a lovely destination. Great restaurants and quaint shops. Close to the inclince where you can travel up to see the whole city.
The Carnegie science center is a great place for kids. Here they can experience an eathquake, climb aboard a submarine or just play in the children's play area. Don't forget SportsWorks!
The childrens museum is a great place for kids. Here kids can look at and play with the exhibits. From and art studio to a "play" car garage there is something for everyone. A great rainy day trip.
Oglebay has something for everyone. From a nice childrens zoo to skiing in the winter. This beautiful park has paddleboats, miniature golf and lodge for dinner or overnight stays. A wondferul light display in the winter. Must see.
