i ran across these guys (their service) while filling up my tank and noticing how dirty my car was. i just drove up, pulled into the lot. they did my windows, vacuumed my interior, put some shiney stuff on my tires that made 'em look brand new, and cleaned the wheels. all of this was done in less than 30 minutes and it only came to $20. you can't beat that. i'd recommend these guys, for sure.
this place is the best furniture for your money in berkeley. i bought two carved accent chairs for under $300. Delivery high quality product (sofas, contemporary wood products, mirrors, chaise lounges, etc.) at the absolutely lowest costs. these guys are great.
once, i needed a last minute haircut- i couldn't go to my barber because i didn't have an appt., but i found this place and it was great- i didn't need a reservation; just waslked in- and the guy does a fine job, very fast, but his skill is such that he can go fast without sacrificing quality. He's a nice guy too. Only negative is loud conversations are usually going on all around you from various family members/friends which is a little annoying. Usually a few people ahead of you so I'd call ahead to see what the wait is. If you get his cousin, she is also pretty good and she gives you a head massage at the end that is a bit scary and hurts some (I thought she was going to gouge my eyes out), but feels good mostly
It is a small store but has a good selection of hardwood, pergo, linoleum and carpet. The sales people are helpful and it is easy to pour through books of samples without a lot of hustle and bustle around. We decided on pergo floors and are very happy with it. The workers were professional, reliable and cleaned up after finishing. be warned, though- prices are a bit more expensive than some of the other places.
I had heard quite a bit about a place that offered a fantastic selection of furniture at unbelievable prices. It far surpassed my expectations; I would highly recommend Sphere if you're in the market for some new pieces. The variety is quite surprising and let me also echo the suggestion to consider microfiber as a material. The proprietors are very sincere in their desire to make customer service a focus.
They have a special new technology that doesn't use Perchloroethylene to clean your clothes, which a few studies have come out saying may contribute to the high rates of breast cancer in upper-class communities. My clothes come out clean, fresh and pressed, without the nasty chemical smell, and I feel a little better about my cancer risk. Not the cheapest cleaner in town, but not the most expensive either. And I think, worth it. They do alterations, too and the prices are unbeatable!!!
Go for the free calender - stay for the great customer service and selection unlike anywhere else in the city! The folks that run this pet-heaven are very sweet and friendly. If you need a cat tree, ask to go upstairs. It's like walking into the "crazy cat lady" s house
This place is so much fun to shop in! They have almost everything, and then some more stuff you never knew you needed, and then wonder how you have managed to get this far in life without it.You can stock your entire kitchen with cookware, plates, glasses....I could go on and on.
The prices are great, and its just a fun place to shop for stuff, or to just look around.
They don't have the hugest selection of everything, but they do have something for everyone -- the jack of all craft trades, if you will. Extremely friendly and helpful staff helped me find what I needed to feed the craft monster inside me. Love their paper section; it's like a fun-size version of Flax
I love this place! I came in with some messed up color -- and these guys delivered. They know corrective color. The space is amazing -- the stylists are friendly -- and punctual! -- low key vibe! Great service all around and the price is not bad! I'm hooked -- You should really check them out -- particularly if you are not happy with your color
