I didn't find this store particulary likable because of the atmosphere and the store environment. I took my boyfriend who is a top-notch computer geek and the guy who was there was no help when it came to Q&A regarding the products, and to make the matter even worse, he made up a lot of stuff that wasn't even true just to make the sale. We compared their prices to several other competitors and found their prices to be "not a good bargain."
This is definitely not where you want to book for Valentine's Day but the property and all rooms alike are very well kept and maintained. It's probably best for seniors, families and budget travelers who seek friendly smiles while away from home. Don't forget to shop at Del Amo mall, which is also filled with family shoppers.
When I didn't know this area too well, my boyfriend's sister recommended this place to me. She has been going there for years and every time I saw her, she always looked great (she is a model). So one day, I tried for myself. Boy, I could not have been happier with my hair cut!!! Expecially since last time I got my hair cut in downtown LA, my shiny hair was butchered and chopped......but this place made me look so refreshed and at least 5 years younger!
Mr. David Schwartz is one of the most caring attorneys I know. He and his staff are very professional yet very sensitive when dealing with complicated family litigation matters. One of the many qualifications they posess is their background on child and family psychology, which was the reason why this place was referred to me in the first place. I'm glad I hired Mr. Schwartz.
I didn't know much places to go for shoe repair when I moved to San Diego and I found this place in Yellos Pages. I liked how they treated me with friendliness and care for the first time. The shoe repair I had requested was a simple task but they never made me feel less appreciated because of the dollar amount I was paying. I don't need my shoe repairs so often but if I ever needed to, I would definitely go there again.
We have had our several corporate orders done by Liberty Call Embroidery. Honestly, if my company didn't pay for it, I wouldn't use them. The workmanship is average, have never been bad, but I have seen much better work in other places. It's just that for me, they lack a little personal touch, that's all. I think Pottery Barn can do my initials with much heart.
I usually prefer going to the same spa and request the same masseuse but this one I had experimented on a whim. Boy, I was sooooo relaxed and almost fell asleep during my treatment which hardly ever happens to me. Each and every spa has different "feel" to it and this one is definitely on my "fave" list.
I wasn't too impressed with this Mission Gorge Animal Hospital. My husband suggested we take our dog there because it was close to our house. The customer service was okay, the doctor was nice but there wasn't anything exceptional about the service. It was almost like everything was about money, insurance and business and the only person I felt truly compassionate was the receptionist.
One day my African snake stopped moving and my son panicked thinking that his pet had died. When he called me at work, I didn't know what to do but somehow found Avian and Exoric Animal Hospital in the yellow pages and made an appointment. When I explained this was emergency, they took us in right away although they were pretty booked with appointments. I was pleasantly suprised to have found really caring staff for our exotic member of our family. I will definitely keep them as my future pet's hospital.
Historical yet very elegant hotel in San Diego....overlooking the jewel of La Jolla....this La Valencia hotel is definitely a splurge. Ranging from upper 200s to 300s per night, you will receive a top notch service and guaranteed comfort in return. The hotel is old so the building itself and decors are not modern but somehow it manages to give off the elegance and reminiscence without the arrogance.
