The best way to get the most out of San Diego is to visit San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Sea World in with the San Diego 3-for-1 Pass. Famous Ballon Safari, the main attraction which takes you up in the air to let you experience the bird's view is often enjoyed by many visitors. I am definitely riding one next time I return for my 3rd visit.
Balboa is the largest park in San Diego with lots of greens and playgrounds for your little ones. In order to go inside the museum, you must buy the tickets but it's very nominal fee. There are numbers of different types of museums throughout the parks so you may choose your own according to your interest. Enjoy the whole day in the sun with free parking.
It's like a gallery/museum, but this place has a very different "feel" compared to most other Laguna artists' colony galleries/shops. Marion Meyer shows off very contemporary art pieces that are by both national and itnernational painters and sculptors.
Stepping into Len Wood's Indian Territory is an experience like none other. Family owned and operated since 1969, they have kept the Indian antiques like Navajo rugs, antique basketry, pueblo pottery alive in the Laguna Beach community. They offer free verbal and email appraisals of your private collections of Indian art.
If you are visiting the beachside artist's colony, this is a one must-see gallery I would recommend. The powerful display of Mike Kelly's different works are displayed throughout the gallery with extraordinary color and beauty.
This gallery has a long and continuous history of representing established well known painters. Collections range from landscapes to European, acrylic, mixed media, random drawing on Canvas, etc. The gallery also represents the sculpture works that are so amazing. Very pieceful environment.
Their posters are so awesome that you'll be happy you stopped by! Subject matters range from travel to Olympics, cinema, wine & spirits, etc. in Belle Epoque period to contemporary in age. The gallery is very warm and cozy with fireplace and couches.
