Friendly service. Cheap prices for hair cuts, about 12 dollars without tip. They also do perms, highlighting, dying. I recently permed my hair there for a decent price. They didn't charge me extra even though they used double the amount because of my extra long hair. Will definetely go there again!!
Good tourist store of San Francisco chinatown. They sell the basic chinese novelties such as key chains. post cards, chinese fabrics, cups, games, toys, jewelry, clothing. It's not a place where the locals would shop. Many of the prices are a bit higher because the store is mainly for tourist. (You know it'd cost about 1 cent in china!) It's a good place to look around and spend some time.
Ambassador Toys carries toys from around the world. They have a lot of different kinds of kites, dolls, and figurines. They have a very friendly enviorment. The prices are more in the high range. They are one of the only toy stores i know of that doesn't sell the basic batman barbie doll gig. They sell more of cultural toys.
A cute little place to bring a child and yourself. They have plenty of toys and dolls for young ones. A good place to pick up christmas presents or presents in general. They also have a lot of comics and comic figurines. I thought the batman figurines were most impressive (they cost high hundreds - thousand). This store is kind of pricey, mostly retail. If the items are worth more in value, they will cost a lot more.
Pearl has everything you need for you art supplies. I went here because I needed supplies for an art class. They had everything I needed at a reasonable price. Compared to other stores like Office Max and Office Depot, I would much prefer to go to Pearl. They also have advertisments with things on sale to make it even cheaper. I bought a big sketchbook for about three dollars compared to 8 dollars at other stores!
My absolute favorite book store in san francisco. they have 2 stores with books and music new and used. I love this store because of the good prices and deals they have. I buy many of the books I need for school and just for enjoyment here. The used books are really inexpensive. The service is very friendly and they are always there to help you.
This store had a variety of items for a bargain price. They sell things from foods to toys to lotions and home accessories. Many of the items there are expired however they will always be good steals. They have shipments I think every week so you just have to be there at the right time. Prices are very cheap and reasonable!
necklaces, earrings, braclets, hair accessories, rings, belts, what more do you need? Everything is at a reasonable price. Necklaces and earrings range from 10 dollars and up. They have a huge variety from hello kitty to stars to lightning bolts - anything you can imagine. I bought my favorite necklace here. They have different styles of everything too! One stop and you can spend all your money on all the jewelry you'll need
One of the best places in San Francisco to order some pastries, cakes, cookies and coffee. They sell great mousse cakes and strawberry short cake. They also sell get pastries, one of the best is the Napoleon which is strawberries and custard in a type of crossiant. About half an hour before their closing time they sell many of the pastries for half off. Their cakes are quite pricey but are well worth it.
Wishbone carries a variety of things. Novelty candy, clothing, cards, gift wrapping paper, books. They have a lot of Paul Frank clothing. A lot of their books are similar to Urban Outfitters. Wishbone carries a really welcoming and warm enviorment - a place where you can just browse and look around without feeling like you HAVE to buy something.
