A great place to throw a birthday party for the little ones. This place has everything from video games to a batting cage. Prices at these places are always expensive of course, but they are great fun. One of the best features of the facility are the go-karts. They are pretty decent, but not as fast as the CHAMPS go-karts. The tracks are great, and sometimes the combine the tracks if it's not busy so you get a pretty long course. It's about $1 for minute on those things, a lot more expensive than gas itself. Give the place a try, I'm sure you'll like it.
This is something you typically wouldn't do when you're fifteenteen, but I did it and it is a lot of fun. They have tons of regulars that go there and they are very nice and will typically give you clues and techniques to improve your lawn bowling. Their grass is flawless and the atmosphere is not comparable. The rates are very cheap and is in the city. You might think it's weird at first, but after a while it gets kinda addicting.
I believe this is the best place to golf. It is absolutely stunning for a avid golfer to stroke balls. No better place to do it than at newcastle. This is a high class place and a round of golf will cost you about $120 for 18 holes. It is tucked away in the tiny city of Newcastle. It is about a 15 mile drive from the heart of seattle and is very easy to find. They have a dress code so beware of what you wear. No jeans of tennis shoes, this is a hardcore place and ballers only. They have a nice driving range and short 9 course. there are stunning houses near by located at the holes, and the neighbors are very nice. There is a couple of dining areas and the food is pricey. IT's a great place to actually play golf and have a fantastic view of seattle and bellevue. Recommended for the hardcore golfer or anyone who can afford it!
PROS: great views, nice staff
CONS: not too bad for price
This is the mini-me of bellevue square. It is conviently locate off of I-405 and is a sinch to find. They shops inside are not really big stores. The biggest of them all would have to be Old Navy. There is also a red robins in there. You will find a lot of high school kids there. Especially from Newport high school. they are located 1/2 a mile away. Parking is very generous and you won't have a problem finding parking because no one really goes there. The best out of the shops is Nordstom Rack. They have great deals and is probably the store most shopped at in Factoria. Give the place a visit and see how you like it!
PROS: spacious parking
CONS: lot of high school kids
Located on 1st ave, the NOrth Face is a retail clothing store mainly for enthusiast that seek adventure. The staff is not very bright. They will suggest you buy the most expensive gear so they can rack up on commissions. The quality of the clothing is exceptional, but the prices reflect their popularity along with all the style and material. It would be great if they had sales, and even when they do have sales, it's still very expensive. Other brands such as marmot and columbia are decent and will hold up just like a north face jacket would. If you're rich and have money to spend on this "great" brand I would say go for it. But if you're looking for a reasonable price, go else where.
PROS: good quality
Well, not really classics but great art none-the-less. Northwest art into one convient place in the middle of downtown seattle. The admission prices are great, very cheap for a date. It is very big in side and has a couple of levels of art. Some of the art is ancient, or so it seems. Catch a taxi there, and the people who work there will recommend great pieces for you to see and analyze. I had fun and would definitely do it again!
PROS: beautiful art
I love the science center! I usually go there on rainy days, heck even on sunny days! It's a great place for all ages. The exhibits are very unique and you can learn a lot from them. The key features of the science center are the Boeing Imax theater and the butterfly house. The theater's screen is a whopping 10 stories high. Surround sound and all the great ish. I would definitely recommend getting a membership there. Memberships are really cheap and they last year long. The family membership is a really good bargin, but nothing beats the PLATINUM membership. It's loaded, comes with 6 imax movies per person up to 6 in a household. Year long admission for free, up to 5 free guest for exhibits, and special engagement passes for everyone on the membership. You also get discounts and all the great stuff the science center has to offer. PICK UP A MEMBERSHIP IN THE MEMBERSHIP OFFICE!!!! Best place hands down for any age.
PROS: Awesome all together
Wow, I've gone here several times as a kid. Ever since the 3rd grade! It's an awesome place for kids. There are lots of hands-on activities and the animals are great! They also have a theater which is a plus. Admission is not expensive at all. It's located on the waterfront and is very easy to find. They have sharks, sea otter, octopus, and sea stars. Just great for kids in general, great for adults too. The staff is great, and it's pretty to navigate the aquarium. Check it out and write a review once you're done!
PROS: Great Location
This is the tallest structure on the west coast! Built back for the fair, it's still standing after numerous earthquakes! This thing is solid. Admission is well worth it if you are going to take pictures from the top of the Space Needle. The food is very pricey, I suggest you bring a sack lunch. This is great for field trips or even family trips. The view from the top is extrermely amazing. 360 degrees of seattle. From elliott bay to alki beach. The elevator that takes you up and down is very fast. I suggest this to anyone who is new to the city or just to anyone who hasn't visited it ever!
PROS: Great Views
