We have gotten various landscape supplies from Hedberg and have been happy with the selection. Our paver sidewalk was made with pavers from Hedberg and it turned out beautiful.
And we have bought Koi from there that are having babies!!
I know Hedberg has contributed to our beautiful landscape.
I went to Baja Sol hoping for the choices and flavors that its competitor Chipotle has and I was not impressed. The chips were greasy, the rice was too spicy and the tacos were just ok. The only neat thing was the self serve salsa bar.
I know I would not go out of my way to eat there again.
I went to this salon in a bind and took my young son with. I was grateful that they had two walk in appointments available and was told that the lady helping my Son was good with kids. Maybe she was good with kids but she did not know how to cut them. It just so happened another stylist was watching and pointed out some tips, otherwise I would have been completely dissapointed with his cut.
I myself got a trim and it was nice, but nothing special.
Prices are ok. Of course you can get cheaper, and I probably should do that with my Son for a while.
I have been to the 8th Street Grill over a dozen times and I think I have loved everything I have eaten. Whether it is by myself, with friends or with my Father, this is one of our first choices in eating establishments.
In the summer they have outdoor seating and it is a good place to soak up the sun.
For lunch, prices are moderate.
And ask about their specials, you cannot go wrong with them.
The Children's Museum is a fun place for kids and would be a lot nicer for adults if it weren't so busy.
My son's favorite part was actually the baby/toddler hall even though he is a preschooler. He also loved the water in the one exhibit hall.
Rev up your engines and head to Speedway if you want a good deal and fun atmosphere. Of course, being NASCAR fans, when we passed this restaurant we had to stop and eat. We went for lunch and they had specials costing between $5-7, and when we got our plates, it was filled to the top with food.
I only wish they had this restaurant in the Twin Cities.. we would definetly stop in again.
Earlier this summer we unexpectedly had a need for Huber's service. My father-in-law had died and it came as a shock to all. So because of this he really hadn't planned anything.
The day after his death my husband and I came by the Funeral Home and Wally stepped us through everything while understand our grief. He also understood our limited budget and helped us pinch our pennys. And when we had the request to have my fil's body taken to North Dakota, he and others on his staff worked together to make that happen they way my father-in-law and my husband (would have) wanted it.
On a hot day, the Peppermint Twist Drive In is a great place for old time burgers, fries and ice cream.
And it is not just a drive in...with its Teddy Bear Park, it is a great place for kids to play.
Now for the price... the food wasn't the greatest, especially for the small town it is in.
But I would probably go back.
I was so excited to take the kids for their first trip to Build a Bear... though I was hoping to make my own bear. Instead, being the nice mother I am, I let them each pick out one. They had a chance to stuff, fluff, dress and name their bear. I think they had the best time picking out what to wear.
And the price seems comparable to what I used to spend on Barbies as a kid.
Next time I am getting my own Bear (or other animal) buddy.
I have been scrapbooking for years but I had yet to be in this store. Well I had been getting their emails for some time and noticed they had a 50% off of Quickutz the month of August. I had also seen a QK set I wanted. Well I called them up, they put it on hold and I got my set as well as a couple other QK products! Great deal.
Nicely laid out store.. I can see myself going back.
