Ox Yoke Inn
Ox Yoke Inn is a considerable hole in the wall. In the middle of residential houses, you may not even know it is out there. There was a large number of choices, so something for everyone. And the prices were moderate - though I would have thought they could have been cheaper.Space is at a premium, so chairs and tables are bunched together.
PROS: choices
CONS:
Bradford T. Allan, MD
I have fortunately stayed there only two times, and that was for the birth of my children, and was very happy with hospital. Even though there is one closer, this is the one we choose. The nurses were very patient and helpful. With my first I had a C-section and the second was a VBAC and both went well. I was even fortunate that I was at a place (with a dr.) that let me have a VBAC.Once my children were born they were excellent at helping me learn to breast feed them.My father-in-law also stayed there about 5 years ago when he had a heart attack and they are one of the leading heart hospitals.
PROS: knowledgable
CONS: not as close
Cypress Salon And Spa
I just recently went to Cypress Salon and Kathy was my stylist. It was my first time there and I brought a picture of what I wanted. And she did a great job cutting it very similar. She cut over 5 inches off and I came out feeling like I was so much lighter.
At $25 the price is good for the treatment (including shampoo/scalp massage and style at the end). And the salon is very comfortable.
I also got information about their spa and prices seem good.. I just need to try them out.
PROS: comfortable, beautiful
CONS:
University of Saint Thomas
University of St. Thomas was a great place to go for an all around education. Going there I did not know what I wanted to do, but I knew that I would have many options. I had actually started at a different college but found it too small and limiting. I had lived near UST in the past and knew it did have a lot to offer and it did.I ended up majoring in Broadcast Journalism and minored in Communication and Sociology.. I also was a cheerleader, involved in a campus TV show and in a sorority and honor society. I came out of there feeling like I made of college what I should. Now I know UST specializes in Business and from what I heard it is a great program.
PROS: big enough,
CONS: private so more expensive
