Ann Arbor should have more bookstore like this. It has a lot of alternative books which you could not find in other bookstores! They sold a wide selection of gay and lesbians books, woman study, health and some children books. They have a diverse selection of stuff which suits to the diversity in Ann Arbor. I would highly recommend this bookstore and classes in UM should also order books from them to support these smaller local bookstores instead of Ulrichs or Michigan book and supply.
It's inside the north campus commons so all the students will pas sby. However, I don't think they have make very good use of this space. The only thing they sell useful there is pop and snacks, which are overpriced. Other stuff, books or stationary are way overpriced and students mostly would get elsewhere. I think they should have a wider selection of books there so students do not just go to borders to shop, they could shop here where it's convenience for them!
The book you'd find here wasn't going to be new titles or anything. But it's a GREAT place to find new discounted books. It has a larger selection then barnes and nobles discouted sections, and sometimes you could find really great deals there! They have some really fantastics priced foreign language dictionaries etc. So if you'r learning a foregin language and want to buy some dictionairies or cd on that, go look there first before going to a bookstore!
Great serive and it's clean and nice place. I have manicure there before and the most important that is it's cleaniness. They always spend time in the details and not rushing it even if there are customers waiting. It's good that they care about the quality of service they're providing.
I think the place is just okay considering their charges wasn't exactly cheap. I have a cut and dye of my hair and afterwards the dye came out to have no color on my hair at all. The stylist said that since my hair is dark and is hard to do estimation on how it turns out. therefore, I end up have to choose to come back and do the coloring again (as I have already been in the shop for more then 2 hrs), and still the cut hasn't been done. It's good that they offer to give me a second dye but the fact that they didn't get it right the first time is kind of disappointing. Overall, i'd say service is good, but the quality is just okay. I have spent $80 that time.
I have gone there several time and I would say the services and quality of the products are both good. I have gotten highlight and cuts there and the color usually turns out pretty good. I have gone to places which they have a hard time estimating how the color will turn out, so end up have to do coloring a couple of times to get it right. This place has gotten it right the first time and the cuts are not superb but they're okay for this price. I would be happy to go there again.
This auto wash is on wastenaw and sometimes it has really great price. I have washed my car there a few times for maybe 2-3 bucks! It's not as clean as handwashing, however, sometimes in the winter, it really get the salt and residue out from your car surface. For 3 bucks, it really worth it. Their machine looks pretty new and clean too. I would say most autowash place is about the same but this one is sure cheaper then the others!
As the other user have said, this place is great in detailing your car. You sometimes get a pakcage deal and it really clean up your car. I have tried to do it myself before I sell my car, but of course, I cannot compete with the professional! They clean out everything, every dust and not leaving any cleaning solution or residue on your dash etc.
They did get to the details and the outside is also nice, they'll wax and dress your wheels make it as good as new.
this car wash is nice, and is next to an oil change shop, so if you have any problems (ie. the coin change machine eat your coin) you could always go next door and ask for your money back! But usually on Sat. Sun. if the weather is good, this place line up! You'll have to be patient and wait for your turn! But overall it's great!
Well, i would say, they kind of treat different customers differently depending on your attire or what car your drive. One time, i drove my european car to the lot and within 10 secs on the lot, someone came out and ask if they could help me. The sales person I got is a typical high pressure sales who called me at least 3 times after I test drove a new Highlander. The other time that I went to that dealership to check out car with my friend, we walked there since I left my car in the other dealership close by for servicing. Me and my friend, whom both looks like college girls, were in the lot looking at each car and even went inside to sit in their new model, and no one came out to ask us what we want! I am pretty disappointed, and when we passed by the reception lady, she finnaly ask us, with an attitude, that if we want any help. Obviously, after this time, I would recommend people go elsewhere for their car buying or car fixing!!!
