I have taken them my japanese car to their service once. I need to change the front bumper on my car and they did a decent job in ordering the parts etc. I guess if I would to do it in the dealership, i would probably be able to pick up my car sooner, since they most of the time they'd have to order parts. However, the service is good and the job done on the car is good too. They also charge a lesser fee then dealership would! great~
I rented from them for 2 years or so, they'r not bad, just like every other management in town ,they have just "ok" service. HOwever, i disagree with the other reviewer because i think they do fill out maintanece request pretty quickly. Usually within the same day depending on the urgency of it. I would say that the house is old and it's pretty run down. (and mind i say the place is not cheap either.) So, they should have better maintained the place rather then having the tennants to call them in to fix this and that all the time. Though at the end, they did eat your deposit , saying that the light bulb has been burnt out, the shower bar has been broken (and it has been broken since i moved in). Some how I do not have energy to argue with them, so i'll just let it go.
This apartment is just Okay, I have lived in here as a summer subletter before and the place is very small. It's very close to campus but the price are very expensive. I hate that they make a petition inside the bedroom which makes it looks like a hospital room. They need to get that knock out of the room! Also the living room is with 'office carpet' it doesn't have any 'warm' feeling to this place. Though this place do provide nice secruity (people need a card to get in of the bldg) so it's nicer.
I bought my mattress there, they have a large variety. I guess they provide pretty good recommendations too. However, the staff are way too pushy and want to make sure you buy one before you walk out the door. You could bargain with them on the price. I didn't, but I should. It's better to have something in mind before going into this place. I didn't regret buying it from there though as my mattress has been used for over 5 yrs and it's still VERY nice and firm. (it's not a named brand, though they claim it's made by serta or sth) I paid $400 for just the mattress and it's a queen size pillow top. The quality is good though and it's really comfy.
Bargain books is located just a few blocks off the stadium. It's nice and it has a LARGE collection of books. Sometime you might just find what you'r looking for. The books are usually kind of old though, probably hardcover and outdated novels. But then it's a bargain and they really have a HUGE selection on everything. If you'r looking for a HUGE savings for novels and stuff, this is a good place to go. NOt a good place for computer books though, cos they'r so outdated! :)
This is one of the coolest bookstore in Ann Arbor. It's not a chain bookstore and it has a large selection of non-traditional books. For example they have large selection of Tarot card books and a large selection of tarot cards. Upstairs they have a health section with yoga stuff etc. It's great for buying gifts or shopping for youself. They do nice gift wrappings too! (i forgot if i pay a fee for that or if it's free, but eitherway, it's good). The shop is veryi nice in downtown ann arbor and the place is nice and the staff is cool!
Like the other person said. they do have an attitude problem. I end up not renting from them even though I viewed some of their apartments. They seems knowgeable in showing their apartments etc but then they also give you a "take it or leave it" kind of attitude. It's probably there are a high demand in student housing in Ann Arbor and they do not have problems in renting out their places. However if you are looking for great service, you should find management elsewhere. I 'd not recommend using this service.
I usually board my dogs here if I need to go away. Their places seems clean and they seems to be nice about it even if you call in to check on them everyday or so. I have to drove back there to get them board because I could not find a better place then this one! :) I usually bring my own food and treats and the staff will give it to them. They have a very clean indoor cage and also a pretty dcent size outdoor run. I found that they take pretty good care of my dogs as they were not "too" stressed when they come back to me. I compare this place with a lot of others and I have to say, this is the best one i found. They do not overcharge on their service either and sometimes they will give discount if you board 2 dogs at the same time / or 2 at the same runs!
PROS: Great place, great people, Great price
I used to take my cat to be seen there. The staff are very friendly and nice. They always take time and care to examine my dog. The only cons i have with them is the charge seems to be a bit expensive. For example, one time i took my other dog there for some coughing and they recommend to do a bunch of test, costing around 200-300. I guess it could be the norm. But later, I took it to another local vet and they said it's just normal kennel cough and prescribe him with some medication and my pooch was well in a few days. So, it could be they like to do a lot of test, or they are looking to make money on things. Though i'd say the staff there are friendly and nice.
They have a wide selection of puppies and a large selection of food choices and toys. Great place to shop for your pets! The puppies seems to be in good condition though it's better to adopt or get from a reputable breeder.
