I went to the drive through and asked for Caesar Salad with grilled Chicken and Ranch Dressing. I got home to find out they had given me regular salad and NO dressing was included. I checked the corp. website for a phone number to call and the number provided said it was being checked for problems I went to yahoo and got another phone number. They said they would give me a free salad if I came back. BUT THEY WOULD NOT TAKE MY NAME. yeah - right. And why do they hand you loose paper napkins when at the pay window instead of putting them in the bag at the pickup window?? Oh, I guess they might FORGET. I DO NOT WANT A HANDFUL OF LOOSE PAPER NAPKINS LAYING AROUND IN MY CAR
CONS: bad drive thru service
I was very disappointed. I bought my 20 year old nephew a years membership for Christmas last year. They told me they would work with him and show him how to use the machines and workout safely, as I specifically said hen had never joined a gym before, and had had an shoulder injury that he needed to continue to strengthen. When he went in and signed in first time and told them it was his first time on a gifted membership , no one even gave him a tour or helped him with anything. He is very shy. He had to try to figure out the machines himself because they virtually ignored him and he wound up hurting himself and never went back after a few discouraging visits.
PROS: none - they just want you to spend your money
CONS: they do not do what they promise
The store is set behind a restaurant so you can browse the antiques to your hearts content and get a good meal without even getting into your car. They always have "new" items and you can bargain. They have a great selection of furniture and dinnerware. I have found a teacup and saucer set that matched my DS set- after looking All over for years. And for DBIL who collects small juice glasses with weird messages, I have found severa there. go enjoy, have fun.
PROS: food and shop? what more do you want
CONS: a little hidden from the road
As the name says, if you are a stamper or a scrapper, this store has everything. A huge selection of every paper you can imagine. Lots of stickers and specialty trim items, tools and glues. I especially like how well they are organized here. It is very easy to find what you need. They always have a good selection of clearance and markdown items, so I can never leave emply handed. They offer classes on a reguylar basis which I keep meaning to sign up for but never can fit it in. The have the best selection of sample creations all over the store too for inspiration and a talented and knowlegable staff
PROS: A terrific selection of products, reasonable prices; good clearance
CONS: I spend way too much there
My DS is an award winning watercolor artist. When she came back home to visit the one place she always wants to go back to is always Dick Blicks. She says they have the best selection of supplies that she knows of. I am just an occastional crafter, but I too love going because I know I will always find something great there too. The customer service is fabulous. these guys live art supplies. They have supplies online too if you cannot get to Dearborn.
PROS: best supplies - all the newest stuff
This store has a huge selection of everything you would want for scrapbooking and stamp crafting. I especially love the sticker and paper selections. The have lots of themed die cuts and specialty trim pieces to liven up pages and cards. They have all the glues and tools you need and the exoertise and classes to teach you how to use them. My neice and her freinds always wants me to take her up there.
PROS: huge selection / classes offered
CONS: rare specials
They have the freshest fruit and produce ALL the time. I stop in at lunch and take the fruit back to the office. Prices may be a little higher, but the quality is always excellent. In spring and summer they have every plant imaginable and the staff is knowlegeable on how to plant and when. A boss in a nearby office bought his secretary a plant a month for a year for Christmas last year from there. Every month we could not wait to see what she got.
PROS: Best produce and plants
CONS: they need a bigger parking lot - way too congsted.
If you want the very best burgers, this is the place to go. The staff is freindly and the clientelle is lively. They have good prices on drinks and lots of specials. Located right in downtown Dearborn, stop in while shopping and antiqeing on Michigan avenue, for a cool beer.
PROS: hamburgers to die for
Had to fly out of town to a funeral at the last minute. She helped me find a great airfare, car rental and nearby accomodations in very little time and very, very fast.
PROS: would recommend
while recovering from an ankle fracture, I did physical therapy here after getting out of the cast. I was pleased that they let me set up my own appt. times. there was never any waiting. I loved the manual manipulation massage therapy.
PROS: great staff
