I had to take a class for my job at one of their campuses. The class was taught by a variety of teachers, some really good and some should never teach a class again. The classroom was in a poor condition. It was september and if you live in Sacramento it is really hot in September. Well the classrooms air condintioning went out for four days and we basically sat in an oven trying to learn a dry course, by a dry teacher. They did bring in fans, but that did not help out. Glad that experience it over.
CONS: everything about it
I thought the food was really good there. But, everytime I go there the service seems to get worst. First the restaurant is very small, so it is easy to bump into someone behind you. The menu has a wide variety of food, something for everyone. If the service was better I would probably rated the restaurant with a 5 instead of the 3 I gave it.
This small center was a former gyn for those in the air force when the base was active. This sport center is open to the public. The equipment is a little dated. You don't need to sign up for a contract to use the center. You can drop in anytime and the cost is very little. The place does not offer everything that a large health club has to offer, but if you don't want the contracts like the other places this place is for you.
PROS: no contracts
CONS: older equipment
This golf course is hidden in the Mather Area, the former area of the Mather Airforce Base. The golf course is large and a very nice course. The grounds are kept nice and neat. The staff are friendly and the cafe serves fairly decent food. The golf course is a golf course you want to try.
PROS: clean, neat, and large
You can find new and used books at this one of the kind book store in Sacramento. They have great sales and the prices are very good. I have found many books that I have been looking for that were rare. The staff are friendly and they are very helpful in helping you find what you are looking for, I suggest signing up on their mailing list to get information about sales and events.
PROS: great selection
This is a great campus for your higher education needs. I lived on campus for 2 years and loved the experience. All the professors I had were excellent and I learned a lot. The experiences there and the education made me who I am today. I would not have my career if it was not for the education I received from this university.
There is a variety things to do then just minature golf and video games. There is a ferris wheel, large slide, go carts, and more. There is something to do for all ages here. The gold course is fair, not as good as other ones in the area. But, the other things they have to offer makes it better then some of the other areas family activity centers.
PROS: lots to do
CONS: better golf area
I went into this establishment with a two friends on two seperate occassions so they could get a tattoo. The artist were very friendly and they did great work. They made sure their work area is clean and safe. They also offer peircing their too. I saw a few people getting peirced and they did a wonderful job. I recommend this place for your tattoos and peircings.
This is a one of a kind restaurant in Sacramento. They offer food simular to what you would find in New Orleans. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly. The servie could have been a little more faster but I guess that can happen on a Saturday night. I highly recommend this little restaurant.
The restaurant offers a variety of sandwiches and hot plates to chocie from. During lunch they offer a great buffet that has a wonderful varitey of items to choose from. The staff are friendly and the food of course is great. It is hard to locate this restaurant since it is tucked away in a business area.
