We saw them at my husband's company's kids holiday party and my kids loved them! It is a very interesting idea -- fun ways of teaching kids science -- and definitely an original idea for your party.
We recently went to a party here (and are going to another next month) and really enjoyed it. There are two areas -- arcade games and a large plastic (soft, not hard like the one at The Jungle) play place. My son loved it! After playing we went to the party room and had lunch and cake. We can't wait to go to the next party!
About 6 years ago my parents sent me flowers from the East Coast and Dana's Flower Basket was the company contracted to deliver them. They didn't leave them for me, and left me a message asking when to redeliver them. I called them back and left a message, but never heard from them again and never got the flowers.
I randomly got recommended to Dr. Laros for my second child after having a blood clot with my first pregnancy. Dr. Laros is a blood specialist as well as an OB and a great doctor. He delivered two of my children and had good knowledge about my condition and how to incorporate care of potential blood clotting with pregnancy and delivery. I would definitely go back to him if I had more kids. He was, when I was there, the acting chief of OB.
I had two of my kids at UCSF and I would go there for any medical reason, especially if you have recurring issues. I was treated very well, and had very good care by my doctor, Dr. Laros, as well as all of the residents I saw, and there were many. They really work with you to solve your problem. I also had a blood clotting issue and had to come in many times for months. They were always friendly and fit me in when I needed to be there.
Dr. Cooper was kind of goofy, but we got relatively good service and I would go back. The only thing that bothered me was that she was trying to sell me sunglasses for all my kids from their optical center, which seemed a bit much.
My husband chose PAMF because it is across the street from his work, but we both go there now because of the services we receive. Everything is computerized, from where you send your prescription to your medical records, etc. The doctor I go to is really good. I also love the hours -- they are open early and you can get a same day appointment which is incredibly helpful. They also have many testing facilities so I was able to get my bone density testing through them without having to go to another company (but a different location).
PROS: convenient hours, everything automated
I bought my car from Menlo Honda and have done all my services there so far. I have had two service people be very friendly and help me with my car when I had problems and I have had no problems getting service done so far.
I got my car's smog check here and it was very convenient and done in a timely manner. They do tend to have expensive gas, however, and I don't often buy gas there but would go back for smog checks at least.
I brought my previous car twice to Honda Hospital. They were really good about doing an evaluation of my car, but once I had problems they had little to no communication and it affected my schedule. I had had my car towed there when it broke down and instead of telling me they were too busy to see my car that day, it ended up just sitting on their lot for the day. Then they had to order a part from Honda, but they didn't tell me that it was not there, and basically I had to do all the calling up until the point that I gave up and left the car there for the weekend. The service has been fine, but the communication leaves a lot to be desired.
