Pretty bad. I tried one sweater out with them. It came back damaged, smelling like sweat in the armpits, and with white flecks all over the black material. I am trying out a lot of cleaners in my area, and I am not happy so far. I know I writing a lot of bad reviews - I pray to find the one for me! Hopefully, these words are helpful to someone out there. :) A plus for this cleaners, though, is that they have a huge coupon on their website - but does it matter if they don't have their act together?
I tried this place out because of the great reviews here, but I am very disappointed. The owner took in my sweater which had stains. When I picked up the sweater, he was there again and said nothing about the stains not coming out. I paid for the work, and he went back to what he was doing before I came in. I unwrapped the plastic, and saw the stains were still there. I asked him to take a look at them and he acted like he had no clue about them. He was the only worker I saw both the times I went in there, and it surprised me that he wouldn't know about something like this. He offered to try again - I haven't been back yet - but already I am turned off - he needs to know about the stains that come in and out of his store to win my approval. These were huge stains. He should have seen them. I told him I was trying his dry cleaning out for the first time, and I have lots of cleaning to do if I was satisfied. I guess that was not good enough incentive to do a decent job.
And thanks again for insiderpages for sending me here. I got a great manicure - great attention to detail - from Tina, the owner, and at the price I want to pay: 8 bucks plus tip. I'm taking my boyfriend here to get his back waxed.
...for sending me to this wonderful quaint spot just around the corner from me. Yes, what the other reviewer wrote is all true - Gloria, the owner, takes your order at your table. The food is very good, and the whole place has a nice integrity to it.
One thing - it was crowded lunch hour midweek - and service was a little slow. I'm going back.
Great prices, especially with the coupons you can get off the back of Albertson's receipts...shirts come back stinky with sweat and chemical from their machine. Even shirts that I take in just for laundering come back smelling like sweat and with their stains still on them. Service is cold, unfriendly, especially that Hispanic woman with the tattoos.
So, the food is not all that great. The sizes are not that big, either. Prices are high. But the atmosphere is delightful. Love those big bowls of fruit on the tables. The large, wooden tables, the patio seating. Just don't come hungry.
I know two friends who got sick here in the past year on separate occasions. Too bad, because the place used to be great. Loved the chicken. Prices were/are good, too. But stay away if you want to stay healthy.
So, the pros: fresh food at reasonable prices
Unfortunately, more cons:
Bad, slow service. Plus, they consistently fluff up their tips if you pay my credit card. I go there often, as it's very conveniently located for me. And even though I tip 20 percent, they have always added more tip. This is downright unethical, and when I mention it to the waiters, they act like they don't care.
