aveda institute
The Aveda Institute is a great place to go for an inexpensive but high quality hair cut and color. The stylists are all in training under the watchful eye of their teacher. When you go in for a cut, you must pick a cut from a portfolio/picture so the stylist can be graded. The cuts and color do take longer than a regular salon because each step must be checked by a teacher. But the wait is worth it.

CONS: Be prepared to be in the chair for a long time

Dr. Figueroa provides good medical care with a friendly smile. Her whole staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The practice covers children to adults so you can get care for your whole family.
