I had an outstanding burger. The flavor was fantastic! It was juicy and meaty. They cooked it really, really, rare - just the way I wanted it. The burger was amazing! The next time I go, I would skip the onion rings and French fries, since they weren't all that great. The oil they were cooked in tasted old and not fresh. It tasted like they cooked my rings and fries in oil from earlier that morning - oil that just sat around all day and sopped up all the tastes of everything else cooked in it. I would substitute something else for the fries/rings next time. They told me I could get a bowl of squash or chips next time instead. Lastly, I had a gawdzilla chocolate frappe, which was really thick and lovely. The burger and shake would have totally been enough for me. Kinda cramped in the place, but you get to sit practically on top of the other diners there and I suppose it's a good way to make new friends. The night I went, there was a George Bush look-a-like and a Steven Spielberg look-a-like. That sort of provided the comic entertainment for the evening. Overall, a fun and very cool place to hang out with tasty burgers.
This is by far, some of the worst Chinese food I have ever tasted. The food was old and tasted terrible. I had an entire dinner, and everything was horrible - from soup to appetizer to entree to stale fortune cookies. It was an utterly miserable dining experience!
This is, by far, one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. Yes, the prices are cheap, but you get what you pay for! The pizza is awful. The crust looks and tastes like burnt pita bread. It is way too thin. The tomato sauce tastes like something you would get from a school cafeteria. This food might be ok for someone who has never really tasted authentic Italian cuisine. But save your bucks and take a trip to the next town over...Fairhaven. Go to the Pasta House, and revel in what awesome and spectacular real Italian food tastes like. Don't waste your time or your money at Riccardi's. The food will be terribly disappointing!
This store scares me! There are a lot of weird things in it. First of all, it's a very Victorian- themed shop. And there are a lot of wicca-type things for sale, which I just don't get and can't figure out. The store is in a big old beautiful house, and you can feel history everywhere inside. There are mostly decorative items for sale and some jewelry. There was a cat inside that gave me the creeps. He was peering out the door at me as I was entering and leaving the store. The whole place gave me the willies, but it was definitely cool! Eerie, spooky, store that holds some sort of weird enchantment for all who enter its doors!
They have fantastic bagels at this cute little shop. I love their egg bagels. They will heat it up and put some cream cheese in it for you. Ah! What a treat. Bagels are made fresh daily. It's a tiny little store for take-out. The counter girls are all friendly and smile at you too. It's a feel good kinda place with outstanding bagels.
You will not find a better and fresher bagel anywhere in the state of MA. These bagels are huge and incredible. They have a bagel with everything in it that is excellent. They will even heat it up for you and add some cream cheese. OMG! Delicious! Last time I went there, the lady at the counter gave me a sample of a lemon cake. It was so delicious, I bought one for my father. He loved it and remarked about how moist and wonderful it tasted. They have a bagel assembly line at this place, and it makes me shudder to think how many bagels they must make each day. Zoinks!
I went there to get my rings appraised. I had an appointment, but the owner was tied up doing another appraisal. She kept me waiting a while. When it was finally my turn, she gave me a 2 for 1 deal on the appraisal. I think she felt bad for making me wait. The sales clerks were very nice, and they had chocolate chip cookies in the waiting area. Yum! The owner who did the appraisal was not very sociable or friendly. She had little personality, but she seemed very knowledgeable and expert at what she did. She barked out orders to her sales clerks, and frankly I don't know why they tolerated it. But she did a great job, and I received my written appraisals in the mail a few days later.
This gift store is very charming. There are a lot of cool and unusual gifts here. The store is owned by a husband and wife team. They are very pleasant and accommodating. It is more of an upscale gift shop. They sell jewelry, sun catchers, gourmet jellies, and garden/outdoorsy items. The prices are very high, but you can really find some unique items here. It's a lovely place to browse on a cold Sunday in winter. They are very appreciative of your business too, which is usually not the case these days.
This store has a wide selection of comfy T-shirts, sweatshirts, and shorts. Many have pretty floral designs on them. There are usually racks outside the store in the mall area that are full of seconds. This is all the merchandise they made that is imperfect for whatever reason. You can get some great deals on those racks, if you don't mind spelling errors on your shirt or a design that isn't quite right. The clothes that this store sells really hold up quite well. They do not sell super high fashion things...they are mostly just comfy clothes you'd wear to the beach or to bed.
I brought my car to them to have it repaired. I had a problem with the brakes. It was the master cylinder, and a new one would cost $1100. They found me a used on online for half the price. It was the first mechanic I ever went to who actually tried to save me money. Speedy repairs, and the mechanic was really friendly.
