This Pac Hts bar is grear for groups and couples alike. The tables by the fireplace fill quickly, especially if it's cold, but are great if you can stake out a few for your group. Another perk is the free hors d'oerves spread of olives, carrots, salmon, etc. that's laid out for all to snack on.
One of North Beach's more rustic bars. savoy Tivoli has a definite European vibe in its two large bar areas and patio. A pretty good number of people turn out on the weekends, and the bars get crowded but not so much that you feel cramped. There's also usually enough seating to grab a table with friends nearby the fooz-ball table.
Heads up, the bar is cash only, so come prepared.
This is not your typical Marina bar. It's dark and dingier than most with a more diverse crowd and close quarters, especially on the cramped dance floor. Cover is cheap if they charge it at all and the bartenders and drinks aren't great. All that being said, you can still have a good time here as long as you set your expectations accordingly.
Fun North Beach bar for drinks and dancing on the weekends. There's usually a line and a $5-$10 cover on fridays and Saturdays, but the bar and dance floor get very crowded anyway. The music varies depending on the dj, .and bar service is average. Good place to go if you've got a small group and are just looking for a good time
Ok bar scene, but very crowded on weekends. Expect a line outside the door and cover of $5-10. Inside there's decent music but far too few bartenders to accommodate the crowd, so service is slow and sub-par. Thebar attracts ppl in their 20-30s but it's a very mixed crowd.
This is a pretty average, forgettable bar. It's not terribly big and pretty dark, but they do have a pool table, which is probably the biggest draw. It has a pretty good location, but there are a number of better bars nearby.
My favorite Americanized Chinese restaurant. Think PF Chang with fresher ingredients and more creative dishes. The salmon and vegetable dishes are highlights, as is the decor. The restaurant is well-kept and bright with modern, colorful art and the beautiful bar shouldn't be missed.
Better than average "Americanized" Chinese food.Large menu with a variety of stir-fried and noodle dishes.Great place to order familyb style and sgare. The soupd are good, but the crab in garlic black bean sauce is amazing - don't miss it, especially iuf it's crab season! Skip the chicken salad and be prepared for slow service and a not so pretty dining room
Wonderful food with a strong French influence, although there are some Italian and Asian style dishes as well. Isa features small plates that are meant to be shared, so you get to sample a number of flavors. They have a solid wine list and beautiful garden/outdoor seating.
Great easy, helthy meals. You order a kabob of chicken, beef, fish or veggies on a starch or a salad. Since it's mix-and match you can find something for everyone. The restaurant itself is simple, but it;s really convenient and the quality of the food is good. You can also get it to go.
