Good thai/fusion food in a trendy, popular setting. The food is served family-style, which makes it a fun place for groups. It does get crowded though so be sure to call ahead - especially if you do go with a group. There i a bar where you can grab a drink while you wait, but space is limited and not great for chatting. Service is hit-or-miss, but overall it's a fun restaurant with yummy food.
This dealership has the best customer service of any car dealer I've ever dealt with. When I had to have some body work done at a shop miles away but couldn't bring my car there during the shop's business hours, they arranged for me to leave my car at the dealership overnight and had it picked up by the body shop the next day. (My car was safe and sound in their garage rather than outside in a lot at the body shop where it would be an easy target)
The maintenance personnel are also friendly and accommodating...oh, and the cars are great, too!
This is about as close to a college bar as any you'll find - near a college or not! The crowd is very fratty, and the beer pong is one of the bar's big draws. Weeknights vary from being near empty to jam-packed, and they have good nightly specials as well.
This is a great bar all-around. Definitely check out Thursdays - probably the best night of the week there - for happy hour and better -than-average bar food, especially the burgers. It gets packed and stays busy til late!
The previous review was right on about the crowd, although I'd say later 20s to 30s...
Friendly bartenders and managers, too...
A really sports bar-y sports bar! Kind of a college bar w/o the college, and fans from everywhere. Game days get packed and expect to bump into someone you know. Drinks are pretty typical for a sports bar, but they do have specials every day of the week!
I agree with the previous review - this is some of the best sushi around. Really fresh, interesting dishes and very reasonably priced for great fresh fish.
The only downside is the restaurant's tiny size. it's also pretty straightforward - no frills or fancy decor - but the food is amazing!
Great sushi! Though the restaurant is small and your practically elbow to elbow w/your neighbor, the sushi is worth it! Very fresh, contemporary dishes. Ask the servers what's fresh - they're pretty knowledgeable and the fresh catch really is!
A16 is a tasteful, popular Italian restaurant in a great area of the Marina. The food is sort of a contemporary/updated rustic Italian, and the menu is, thankfully, not just boring pastas.
My favorites are the almond-crusted halibut and the beet salad.
The only downfall is that it can get very crowded fast!
This is not your average shoe store. Shaw carries unique high fashion shoes in a wide variety of styles. The shop is well-stocked with gorgeous desinger labels and also carries some more everyday footwear as well. Think Sex and the City hits San Francisco...
Porto is a bit hard to find - through a walkway off of Union St - but worth checking out. The owner is European and travels to Italy, France, etc. fairly regularly for his pieces. He carries interesting lines that you won't necessarily find elsewhere, but sizes can be limited.
