I have been to many spas before so I was excited to have a spa morning with my friend. The atmosphere seemed to try to hard to be something it was not. I waited for about 35 minutes till I was seen for my first treatment. The manicures and pedicures were good. The massage was horrible. I felt tense the whole time because the pressure instead of fluid movements. I felt that the lady giving the massage was very unprofessional. She felt like she was in a hurry, cared little about modesty and talked to me during the massage. I wouldn't go back again and was rather dissapointed by the high citysearch ratings.
Since I moved from Boston a year ago I have been trying to find a clean, nonsketchy and affordable place to get a mani/pedi. I finally found it! Nail places in this city are a dime a dozen but not all are what they are cracked up to be. I found Serenity to be friendly, clean, fast and affordable. What more could you ask for! If your looking for a great pedicure without catching someone's nasty foot fungus then this is the place for you :)
Roy Teeluck is one of the best stylists in the city. Not only does he do excellent precision cuts, but his eye for the right style for each individual draws an exclusive clientelle that's hard to find anywhere. The salon has a friendly, hip vibe and the blowouts are ALWAYS sensational!
I got 3 rolls of color film developed here from an automatic 35mm camera and they're all ruined. There are black smudgy dots on almost every photo, almost every photo is dark, even though I took all the photos in bright daylight. One photo has a chemical line going through it that isn't on the negative and their response was "we can try and digitally remove that." They told me it was my camera, although the dots aren't on all the photos. And I've taken photos since which I had developed elsewhere that are perfect. No matter how desperate you are, do NOT trust your photos here!
They did my make-up wonderfully for my cousin's wedding and I couldn't ask for anything else that looks better. Then i went for a second time for my elegant 18th birthday for studio pictures. they don't just do weddings, but simple studio pictures that came out beautifully; later in my older years I can should my children or grandchildren that is how their grandma or mother looked back in her days. I recondmend this area for anyone who is interested in taking wedding pictures or just personal studio pictures in general. They take their job seriously and will let you pick out which ever one you like.
We met John when he was photographing a corporate event for our company. Afterwards he showed us some promos cards of his advertising work. We had no idea that he had shot many major label bands as well as national advertising campaigns. Since that time he has shot everything for our company from portraits to advertising
images. He's a very creative photographer that seems to be able to handle any situation with ease. On top of that, he happens to be a very nice charming man.
Ken has been absolutey wonderful, I have done many shoots with him and he is a pleasure to work with. He is a genuine, fun and easy-going guy. Ken provided me with such a wide range of shots to choose from as well as helped me to decide which pictures were right for me to market. Ken is also fabulous at retouching any type of photos and creating web sites. He will make anyone look good!
This is the best wig outlet ever. Sick mullets for guys, crazy bouffants, out of control styles, including one with pink hair curlers ... hours of fun. So cheap, too, and great quality. Also have moustaches, but there's no sticky stuff on the back of them so you have to figure out how to attach them.
