One of the best Vietnamese sandwiches I eaten in San Francisco. It place is a small caf meant for take out and is relatively clean. I ordered a six inch combination pork sandwich for only $2.75. They make your sandwiches to order so they taste extremely fresh. Their fancy pork tastes good, not too fishy and their bread is delicious.
I've been here several times for dinner with my family and the place is wonderful. The service was attentive and sometimes we even get free ice cream! The appetizers are delicious and I love the beef sukiyaki. The portions are pretty generous. Pricing was average for a decent Japanese restaurant. It is slightly more than Isobune but it has much nicer surroundings.
PROS: Free ice cream doesn't hurt
Glow Hand & Foot Spa is an awesome place and I highly recommend it. It has a very cute and comfortable atmosphere and the ladies working there are so friendly. You can use the back massage chairs while you get a pedicure. They do a wonderful job on the manicures with a huge selection of colors. You can get a manicure AND a pedicure for only $30. Before my manicure, I notice that had set out new tools. (Very important)
PROS: validated parking
We went here for lunch one day and the food here is great. I ordered the Sonoma sandwich made with grilled chicken breast, provolone, tomato, lettuce and pesto. It came with a side salad and delicious garlic fried potatoes in HUGE portions all for $10. The place has a nice and clean atmosphere with friendly service! Highly recommended.
PROS: cheap, delicious
CONS: no parking
Everything in thie restaurant is served cafeteria style. There are no waiters! You grab a meal ticket and order your food, the card gets punched out and totalled at the register. Had the turkey/gravy, onion rings and a root beer for $7. Everything was decent. Decor is casual, with some wood tables, stools and a tv for dining entertainment. I liked the place. It's a good deal for the money.
PROS: Fresh food, nice atmosphere
Two of my favorite sushi restaurants are We Be Sushi located at Valencia and 22nd and the identically named restaurant on Geary and Parker. Good sushi basics, my favorite specialty roll, the spider roll (deep fried soft shell crab), was not great here. Very fresh salmon and yellow fin. Go here for the basics. I took a basic sushi class from the owner Andy. Was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone who loves sushi! I go for the Early Bird Special. Very affordable! And they are pretty fast with the sushi prep as well as service! I highly recommend trying out this sushi place. I don't think any of you would be disappointed!
PROS: Great taste, cheap, friendly service
CONS: Specialty rolls were not the best
