Great little hometown-style restaurant. They offer some really good food in a pretty cool environment. They serve all sorts of sandwiches and subs, as well as chicken fingers, burgers, etc. I recommend the reubino, their own twist on the reuben sandwich. Delivery is also great for football sundays.
What is there to do at 3 AM in a college town such as Glassboro NJ? Well if you're like me well hey, then lets go shopping at wal-mart! This store expanded a year ago to include a giant food store as well, so you really can't even see to the other side. Get out all your consumer urges, and play hide and seek while you're at it.
Wow, Thrift Village is THE PLACE for great furniture at a cheap price. If you go a few times you are guaranteed to score the couch of your dreams for under a hundred bucks, and it'll be in good shape too. They also have a good selection of toys/board games, and mugs/glasses
Paps John's food is great, but I don't classify it as pizza. Real pizza comes from pizzarias, while Papa John's offers some strange new food item that still tastes pretty good. Get the barbecue ham & pineapple and their breadsticks. HOWEVER, if you are not spliting this thing many ways, ordering pizza from Papa John's is going to rip your wallet in HALF. So expensive. If you are ordering on Rowan University flex dollars from your meal plan, don't plan on eating anywhere else but the cafeteria till next month with all the $$$ you just spent
PROS: Oddly delicious
CONS: Insanely expensive
Monster Beverage offers the BEST variety you will find anywhere close to Glassboro NJ, and the prices are not bad either. I don't really drink much, so Monster always gave me the ability to go in and get 2 or 3 really odd individual beers so that I could have fun my own fun tasting something different every night and still have a good time out with my friends. Monster is amazing no matter who you are, it is just a giant warehouse of liquor.
Landmark is a great place that offers many environments. You can go there and have a delicious lunch without breaking the bank, hang out for a while at happy hour and eat the amazing 25 cent wings, or go at night for a really fun bar scene that tends to keep out the creep late-night locals of Glassboro. They must all be at Main Street
Don's Bagels is a great, great store that serves some of the best bagels and breakfast bagel sandwiches around. Consistenly rated highest by all sorts of newspaper surveys I have read year after years, Don's is no slouch. They are also a huge part of the Glassboro community. I was very involved with Rowan University in my time there and Don's Bagels stepped up to donate free food to more than one charity event I ran at the school. Great establishment for the town of glassboro!
If you are not a starving college student who had to take out loans to buy a meal plan and eat at Golden Dragon, then by all means cross the street and go to Peking Buffet. They have an excellent buffet!!!
You really can't complain about the Angry Dragon. They take meal plan dollars from Rowan University, which gives students a much more reasonably priced option over on-campus convenience stores or way overpriced papa johns. Their food is not the best chinese around but nothing to laugh at.
Wow who would have though this place existed in the downtown of glassboro for so long! Read about this when it was winning newspaper awards and wow is their food great. With a remodeling, this place could jump into the glassboro downtown revitalization. Great restaurant with that secret family recipe feel to it
