I went to this practice for 2 years. They had a huge turn around in their doctors. There was a doc that left almost every month, with the exception of the two owners, the Buchinskys. If you happen to be a non-Christian, this may not be the place for you, especially if you see Dr. Vincent Buchinsky. Prepare for a sermon. The staff leaves a lot to be desired. I had to fight with insurance issues because they couldn't get paperwork right. They dropped me as a patient when my husband tried to go to them for the first time (had been on their panel for over a year), when we thought he had bone cancer (results of X-rays at ER showed tumor) and needed a doctor to direct his care. They dropped us both as patients because an old girlfriend of his (over 10 years ago) named him as responsible for a physician bill that was never paid ($150). I even offered to pay the back bill, but they dropped us both cold as patients. Good Christians, huh? (Luckily, we hooked up with docs we love and take great care of us! ...and he didn't have bone cancer, thank goodness!)
PROS: Beautiful offices
CONS: Huge turnover in docs, nasty staff, nasty owners
I was a patient at Prince William Family Medicine. It's hard to get a same-day appointment if you're sick. The staff is rude, and messes up your insurance claims more often than they get them right. I switched because of the admin staff. I couldn't handle the hassle.
PROS: Lousy staff
CONS: Good Docs
I've had occasion to visit Prince William Hospital ER several times in the past 4 years, and have always received appropriate care & treatment. The last time was due to a dog bite. The bite became severely infected and required emergency surgery and in-hospital treatment. They were FANTASTIC. I only had one IV tech that left a lot to be desired...considering the number of needles I had put in me over the course of 4 days, that's not bad odds. The nurses, doctors and other staff were fantastic...ain't bad for a 4-day stay that I disliked only one person I had contact with. Went back there for PICC line & at-home care when I was released. Can't say enough kind things about them.
PROS: Friendly staff, Quality Care, Great Docs
Whenever my car needs regular service (it's still under warranty and has to go to the dealer for some times), Bill's is where I go. I've been a patron of theirs since I moved to Manassas 5 years ago. They've never taken advantage of me, and never recommended unnecessary repairs. Your car is fixed the first time, and fixed correctly! The staff is wonderful and very courteous.
PROS: Good staff, honest technicians, quality work, good prices
On two occasions, I've ordered from House of Philly and my pita sandwiches have been so soggy that I've thrown the pita away. The delivery was extremely slow (over an hour). The food was stone cold when it came to the house (including fries).
CONS: Delivery too slow
One of Paula's "Manassas Hidden Treasures". A Deli offers quality deli sandwiches, very reasonable prices, quality deli salads, and hard to find specialty items (including swiss & german chocolates). The staff is amazing. Portion sizes are huge.
PROS: Great Quality Food, Extremely Reasonable
The past two times I've been to this location, the staff has been almost rude (especially if you're ordering a box of coffee for an early morning meeting, it's like you're an inconvenience). I've never gotten bad donuts here, but on numerous occasions, they've messed up my latte or coffee order.
PROS: OK food quality, not great though
CONS: Staff is rude
Not satisified with the quality of the food or the variety. There are other chinese buffet places in Manassas that put this place to shame. Save your money and go elsewhere.
PROS: Plenty of parking
CONS: Poor food quality & selection
For some reason, this franchise can't seem to get it right. I'll travel to the other side of town where there is another KFC. I've gotten sick twice when I ate here (nope, I didn't learn the 1st time and gave them a 2nd chance), and will NEVER eat here again.
PROS: Convenient location
CONS: BAD food, BAD management
This is one of the Manassas Hidden Treasures, as I call them. They have two locations..one right on Rt. 28 in Manassas Park and one out by Manassas Airport on Rt. 28 south. The one in Manassas Park is only open for a portion of the year, the one by the airport is open all year long. Indoor seating at the airport location, outdoor seating only at Manassas Park location. Superb ice cream that has been local legend since I was a kid. They also make "slaw dogs" (hot dog w/chili, onions, slaw, ketchup & mustard) like I used to get back home (it's a southern thing, I know)..definitely a plus in my book! Be sure to try the RASPBERRY ITALIAN ICE--it's like NY gelato..you can't beat it!
PROS: good food, great ice cream, fast & friendly service
