I mainly head to this store because they have a Boeing Employees Credit Union express branch there. This is convenient for me and I usually incorporate some shopping for food or a cup of Starbucks. Nice selection of hanging baskets in the spring.
PROS: BECU ATM; Starbucks; Clean store
CONS: Hard time finding some items.
This is a strong "blue collar" store. No fancy floral arrangements or trendy deli shop. This is a bare bones great grocery value store. Awsome produce selections and very helpful staff.
PROS: Great prices, super service.
CONS: Have to bag you own groceries.,would suggest shopping with a friend.
Trader Joe's is one of those stores that you grow to love. The Burien store is conveniently locate just off 509 and 160th. Extremely friendly helpful staff. A perfect place to find healthy foods and unusual products.
PROS: Healthy food; Fair prices
The one thing I am beginning to dislike about Insider Pages is the fact that all my "Good Value" stores are being reviewed and that soon everyone will know that places like the Nordstrom Rack are a great place to shop. Darn it. Selections may very depending on the main store wants to get rid of. So you need to frequent the store every 2-3 weeks to get the fresh good deals.
PROS: Discount clothing, Nordstom quality.
CONS: Not as much service people as the regular Nordstrom
This store has been through some owner changes and frankly does not offer "as good of deals" as I have seen. That being said, it is still a very interesting place to look for good deals. I purchased a pop up canopy (8x8) in a bag with rollers, four zippered sides for $100. I saw the very same product at Costco for $180. This doesn't happen every shopping day, but is worth a look
PROS: Possibly Very Good Deals, need to stop in and see
The garden surroundings of the St. Michelle winery is stunning. Just the opportunity to walk around the grounds would be reason to head there, but then you have the wine tasting. It is a slam dunk. Great jazz festival too. Check out their web site for events.
PROS: Great Wine, Great atmosphere
CONS: May need to sleep the wine tasting off before driving home.
You can spend a whole day at this place. From rock climbing to mini go Karts, batting cages to laser tag and of course put put golf. This is a blast. Food is available but not healthy. I would suggest getting something before heading in.
PROS: Go Karts, Batting Cages, Rock Climbing
CONS: Have seen police there alot, so would suggest going during the day.
This is a great idea for a store and the selections can be as varied as the "new sports gear stores". However, the value may not always be as good as if you shopped for new. For example, I was able to get a new junior golf set for my nephew for a few more dollars then what Play It Again had. So I went with the new. We have found good deals on softball bats. Be an informed shopper and you will do good.
PROS: Variety of used sporting equipment
CONS: Not always a "good deal". Know what you are shopping for.
Look, any of the Young Life areas are good. I just happen to feel that Southlake is the Best. Mainly because of the amazing Staff (Sue and Rob) who have a passion for helping kids know the good news of Jesus Christ. We live in a very difficult world, especially for teenagers and the struggles they face. Younglife is a save and extremely fun place for kids to hang out, and during the summer head to camp for the "Best Week of Their Life". Check it out.
PROS: Everything about Young Life is a Pro!
CONS: The only bad thing about Young Life, is Not going!
Any grocery outlet store can save your family big bucks as long as you are willing to try some "off-brands". This store is staffed with very friendly folks, and has very good parking.
PROS: Great value, good parking
CONS: Tuck away, may need to call for directions
