Mission Ridge located in Wenatchee Washington has the best climate for a dry powder that's possible in Washington. Nice terrain, not double black diamond, but an enjoyable place to ski.
Snoqualmie Ridge has some of what's best about golf in Washington. Great views, a superb layout, beautiful clubhouse and great customer service. A private golf club, so you need to know someone to play.
Crystal Mountain is the best Washington ski resort. The terrain is varied, high enough to have the best snow possible in western Washington. Recent improvements have shown a interest in the ownership to keep it "on top" of the mountain.
I would call Four Seasons Olympic Hotel "world class". A grand older hotel located in downtown Seattle has a long history of being the place to stay in Seattle.
The Holiday Inn Express in Pullman Washington is our first choice to stay whenever we are in town. A great rate that includes a breakfast buffet that starts your day off right.
The Edgewater met our expectations of a class hotel on the Seattle Waterfront. While a bit pricey, it made the special occasion special. Close enough to walk to the Pike Place Market and obviously the Seattle Waterfront.
Stephanie Inn is the place to celebrate a special anniversary or occasion. About as close to the Oregon beach as you can get, it offer first rate service and views. Very relaxing and not such a big Inn that your overwhelmed with people. A bit pricey but worth it.
Northwest Trek is a great place to spend a day or part of a day with the family. A unique way to see wildlife in their natural habitat without the typical bars, etc.. that a normal Zoo has. A tram tour is a must and early morning is best to see the animals in action.
QFC in Covington is a step above surrounding grocery stores in the quality of what they carry. Although not as large as most, they do carry most of what you will need. If your having trouble finding a particular food item, try QFC.
Covington Post Office is a nice new facility as far as Post Offices go and sorely needed in Covington. However, every time I go, they have a significant line with not more than 2 people at the counter.
