My 6 yr old daughter loved this salon. Lots of toys to checkout while you wait. They have computers, arcade games, video games, and movies to entertain the kids. My daughter received her first "minicure" before her cut. The hairdressers are nice and actually speak English clearly - unlike the cheap salons. They did a great cut and she enjoyed the experience.
This was our first time going to this Denny's...and first time at a Denny's in a very long time. We went after church and was waited on my Lisa. She was an awesome waitress. My 4 year old was upset and Lisa brought her a class of water and their fun colored drink powder. We spilled the water and Lisa was great at helping us clean it up. I was really impressed with the service we received...better than some pricier restaurants we've gone to.
I have gone to Visible Changes on/off for the past 10+ years. Those off years, were years I didn't live in Texas...and let me tell you how HARD it is to find a top trained professional!
Once again, I tried 3 other salons (Toni & Guy, JcPenney, and Beauty Brands) before discovering there was a Visible Changes in Plano. I was able to get an appointment within a week of calling. I was running a bit late, and they called to make sure I would show up. Apparently they cancel your appointment if you are 10 minutes late (good to know!). I saw Master Stylist Michelle Page. She had a great cut (which is always a good sign!). She washed my hair and then brought me to her station. I told of her of my previous razor cut that made my hair look straggly. She suggest fixing up my layers and did a different technique. My hair looked fabulous! She told me the products she used, how much, etc. I ended up buying a thickening product and love it! The cut was $44..not a bad deal!
As always, Visible Changes exceeded my expectations!
Fun things for the little ones to do. My 4 yr old enjoyed the arcade area, though there wasn't much for her to actually play. Some of the machines weren't working. The line for food/drinks was LONG. There was only one person taking orders. It was really ridiculous. The arcade/food area was quite cramped. We passed on the putt putt and did the go karts instead. It was a bit of a wait, but lots of fun. They have 1 and 2 seater cars. Our car stopped a few times, but I think that was the workers stopping it for safety, not the cars condition. There was also batting cages and a kiddie go cart area. Overall it was a good time. Prices were the norm. We used a coupon that came in the mail. So keep your eyes out for that.
PROS: fun for kids, coupons
CONS: a little run down, small indoor area
We've been to the Cool Cuts 4 Kids on Preston in Plano, but I didn't think they were nearly as friendly as the CC4K in Frisco (inside Toys R Us). We went on a weekday evening and had no wait. Sylvia cut my 4 year olds hair. She was extremely friendly. She put a game on for my little one and while she was cutting her hair she was telling her how to play her game. I thought that was nice of her. Sylvia started conversation with me as well. This was by far the best service and cut we've had. I intend to book my daughter's hair appointments with Sylvia.
PROS: friendly, helpful, great cut
CONS: inside Toys R Us...no way we were leaving without browsing!
We took my 4 1/2 yr old here twice. First time was to try it out. Looked like a place she would like. I didn't think the stylist was that friendly - she barely spoke english. Hair cut was fine. We had to ask for our balloon.
Second time..thought I'd give them another shot and the location was convenient. We stood there for a bit before someone acknowledged us. A nice woman (that spoke good english) cut my daughter's hair. I didn't think she did the bangs right, so I asked her to trim off another piece. She said that wasn't part of the bangs...whatever..it looked like it was to me. She cut it and we checked out. Again I had to ask for a balloon. I just didn't think it had a very wow factor being that it's for kids.
PROS: location, cartoons
CONS: not friendly service, had to ask for the balloon
We were very happy with Cool Cuts 4 Kids. We arrived just before they got busy, so there was no wait. Our 4 1/2 yr old daughter liked being able to pick out a movie and sit in the red girl. All the stylists seemed friendly. Her haircut was very cute. They also have a reward program. We get to carry another card on our key ring. I think she has to get 4 hair cuts before we get $$ off. They have a lot of cute hair accessories. Shampoos seemed a bit pricey for kids stuff. They even had video games for my hubby to play while we waited.
I had taken my daughter to a kids hair salon in Stonebriar mall, but after 2 times of unfriendly service, I decided to try a new place.
Prices are $14.95 for cut/blowdry..pretty norm for these types of places. But still seems high for just a trim and bangs cut.
PROS: Entertainment, Quick, Professional
CONS: Bummed she didn't get a sucker or balloon
For the price - and name - I expected so much more. I could have gotten 2 pizzas at Dominos for the price I paid for one at Brooklyns. The sauce was just blah..nothing set it apart from the others.
PROS: right around the corner
This is by far the best pizza I've had in a long time. Worth the price! The sauce has a great taste. Not a greasy pizza! Chicago's was recommended by a co-worker. We will not order Pizza Hut or Dominio's ever again.
PROS: Great tasting sauce
CONS: Delivery fee, so we pick up on the way home
I have gone to Luna De Noche once and had a great experience. My enchiladas were not greasy. The meat tasted great. Service was great. Chips were great. I plan to go again!
PROS: fresh food
CONS: go early for lunch
