Please BEWARE of this bridal shop!
I purchased my wedding gown here and was promised a "discount" if my bridesmaids purchased here as well. I never saw the discount!
My seamstress made a hem mistake on my dress-it was inches higher in front of the dress and not level all the way around...
My sister purchased her dress here-she had a awful time getting the dress altered to her size, they PROMISED they would fix the dress-in the end it they didn't do anything to make the dress better.
The dressing rooms are filthy, cluttered, poor lighting, not in a private location. The seamstress even threw my dress on their filthy stained carpet and told me that it was o.k. MY WHITE DRESS!!! She didn't even wear any gloves or anything...the OWNER is rude to other clients...I hear him say to a heavy set woman that she was much too large to wear a type of dress she wanted...Needless to say I DO NOT RECOMMEND this location! They even have a sign saying that ABC 7 news reviewed their boutique and won an award! HA!! I doubt that very much...maybe 30 years ago...
I went in to redeem a gift certificate and the owner rudely did not want to honor it. After having a very public conversation about it, he stormed off and had one of his stylist work on me. The owner sucks! But the stylist rocks...I also got a message by one of their therapists...kick ass! Lucky for him his stylists keep his business afloat...
PROS: great cuts
CONS: rude owner,
I was very anxious about going into a David's Bridal since I have heard negative remarks about service but as soon as I walked in the door I headed over their "registration desk" and was recieved in a warm and friendly manner. I was soon assigned to a rep. CLAUDIA and in about 5-8 minutes was shown to my dressing room. She was FANTASTIC-she asked a lot of questions about my tastes and preferences. She also got chairs for my family (there were 3 of them) and spent over an 1 with me. She will be a hard act to follow.
PROS: service, knowledge, courteous, cheaper dresses
CONS: end of visit-sales pitch on alterations, hard to look at selection
