I would not go back to this doctor at all. She is just too inexperienced. If you have a "normal" issue like a cold then I'm sure she would be fine but if you are dealing with anything critical then I would stay far away from her. She misdiagnosed me twice. Yeiks!
I had heard such great things about her but felt pressured to get an MRI when she refused to compare all of my ultrasound labs. I was shocked. I thought that I was respectful and understanding when I spoke with her over the phone but whenever I asked her a question she became increasingly defensive. She seemed nice in person so I'm not sure what happened or if she's just overbooked herself with patients. I would have recommended her before but now I'm really concerned.
I want to say that the optometry I talked was very nice but that was the only, and I mean only, good quality about this place. I had to wait there 2 hours when I had an appointment. They way over price their frames and contacts. You have to go in for a follow up appointment or they charge you extra on your next visit. They also wanted me to wait and extra 90 minutes just so that I could get the nose guard on my glasses replaced. I have since gone else where and won't be returning.
Dr. Ben E. Lu was the nicest guy and the prices were quite fair. I didn't even have to wait. I used to go to Linden Optometry but I'm not going back there since I've seen how great this place is.
The doctor was competent but I did not find him extrodary. The facitliy is small and aged. The prices were ok. When he gave my chihuahua his shot he made him yip and then tried to look at his teeth. This was probably the wrong order to go in but he did back off when my dog obiviously had lost trust in him.
PROS: average prices, average service
CONS: average service, average prices
