Lincoln Park, MI
My three year old was writing her name by the end of the school year in 2005. Granted, I worked with her at home also. It's like anything else, you get what you put into it. The parents who are part of a co-op understand that they will be volunteering their time in exchange for minimal tuition. Work, appointments and other children are always took into consideration. Scheduling can be worked out in advance. Rules and regulations do not make sense to people who do not wish to follow them. My experience with this pre-school has been nothing but positive. I feel that I guided my child's first encounter with education. I created friendships with other moms and have enabled my children to approach "big kid" school with a positive outlook. If that is the wish for your own children, then this is the pre-school for you.
FYI The school has a new address. It is 465 Oak Street at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Wyandotte.
PROS: Teacher is warm and friendly without being annoying.
CONS: I would like to see the 4 yr old class with at least 10 children.
