You can sometimes catch the cookies just as they are coming out of the oven if you get there at the right time. Just like mom used to make. mmmmm.....I think I'll go there now.
This museum is great to take older (about 8 and up) kids. Smaller ones may get board if they are not into fossils/dinosaurs/etc. But for those wanting to get a look at Kern's history before there were people here, this is a great place to go. Hands on exhibits let you see and feel while learning. The docents are great and explain everything clearly to you, no matter what your educational background is.
I guess you pay for what you get. While some things can be had for cheap...Others you don't want to skimp on. Occasionally I find huge name brand (Pierre Cardin and Calvin Klein), but these are once a year finds and they only have 1 or 2 pieces in 1 size. This is great if you only have a few bucks and have time to go through the racks. I will shop there, but not my first choice.
This is great pizza for a take and bake style. The stuffed crust is filling and can feed a small army. The ingredients are fresh. This town needs more Papa Murphys.
This is a great spot to take your family. It's a small zoo close to town. Allow for about an hour to an hour and a half to see every thing. There is a great spot for picnics and a play area for the kids.
