My daughter and her best friend went to Pj's Day Spa in honor of my daughter's 18th birthday. The person who made the appointment was very nice and the price was favorable to some others in the area. We ordered a spa treatment package including manicure, pedicure, massage, facial and eyebrow wax for each of them. They were happy with the services overall. They said the massage was wonderful and they had no problem with the manicure and pedicure. However, unfortunately, my daughter felt like the aesthetician and she didn't "click." She said she felt insulted by some things that were said during the facial. She also didn't feel like her eyebrow wax job was done evenly and, when she pointed this out, she was ignored. Next time, we'll probably try a different spa, but overall it wasn't bad. And, again, they were very pleased with the massage.
My husband and daughter went to 252 Tattoo to get their first tattoos in honor of her 18th birthday. They both had designed sea turtles and took their drawings to Joshua David. He listened to them and made them both feel very comfortable with the process. They were very pleased with the resulting tattoos and felt he had taken their ideas and made them even better. I've posted pictures of each of their tattoos on this site. Several friends and strangers had recommended 252 Tattoo as the best tattoo parlor in NEO, and we agree ... they're great!
We have had more difficulty with Sprint in the first year of our contract than we have had with all other companies we have dealt with in our lives combined. It's been unbelievable. We have had numerous billing problems, the most expensive of which involved over $500 in payments we made that they applied to someone else's account. That problem started in June and remains unresolved. They have also repeatedly billed us for services that were not in our contract. When we try to speak with customer service, we invariably have to wait between 15-30 minutes to speak to somone in India that is difficult to understand, repeats unhelpful phrases, and says no supervisor is available. On top of that, the two times we did have someone say they'd transfer us to a supervisor, we were disconnected! And the icing on the cake is that our reception is terrible. Every Sprint user I've talked with has had similar problems. If anyone can recommend a good cellular company, I'd love to know about it because we'll definitely be changing as soon as our contract is up.
We've had to take our dog, Sadie, to the Animal Emergency Clinic West on two different occasions. They have been very helpful and friendly. We had different staff both times, including both the veterinarian and the technician. The veterinarian we saw on our second visit was Jeni Hren, D.V.M. She was wonderful. And the technician made our normally skittish dog very comfortable and at ease. They are a great resource during off hours, and they even faxed over a report of the visit to our regular vet.
