I just used Apartment Savvy to find my new apartment in the Depaul area. I was in a hurry to find a place before the fall semester started, so I decided to give Apartment Savvy a shot.
They took me to 5 apartments in the area that were all in my price range. Less than a week later I was moving into my new apartment just in time for school. I would definitely use them to find my next apartment.
This place is amazing they have everything including, one of a kind custom jewelry, gems, facets, crystals, minerals, beads, books and much more. It's a great place to take the kids. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. They also are very knowledgeable. This store carries a lot of art typically glass art, jewelry and paintings by local chicago artists. This is a must see! Nothing in Chicago compares to On The Rocks!!
I went here to get my lip pierced four years ago and to this day I still recommend people to go here. I have gone back to buy jewelry and have my lip stretched. I've never been here for a tattoo but I have seen the work they do and it's amazing. Everyone here is really friendly and very knowledgeable. The piercers are super friendly and converse with you on a one to one level so you really don't feel like a customer but a friend. They can answer any questions you have regarding piercing and tattooing. They are extremely clean and sterile and take all the proper and legal requirements before any job is done. I love this place and it's a personal favorite among Chicagoians. They have been around for a long time and moved more east on Belmont within the last two years. This new location is clean, nice, and more welcoming. The waiting area is bigger and there is much more wall space to display the work of the tattoo artists.
I was recommended to go here when I first got my dog. The vets here are very nice and accommodating. They are very insightful to any questions you have and they give you a hefty puppy packet when you get a puppy. The prices on heartworm and flea and tick prevention is high but I suggest getting all that at doctorfosterandsmith.com. Also, the cost of getting your animal fixed is insane, but go to the Anti-Cruelty Society and its $25 for a dog. I had a problem with my dog and wanted to ask the vet about it, so I called and the receptionist put me through to her voice mail and within 15mins she called me right back with an answer. They really make it easy on those who work during the week and are open on Saturdays so you can still make an appointment and not have to take a day off work to do so. They also offer boarding.
