I have been on both the giving and receiving end of one of these "Cookie Bouquets." Let me tell you it's a real treat, no pun intended! :) These are wonderfully tasty frosted shortbread cookies. There are a whole bunch of different themes to choose from plus you can select from 1 cookie to several in a basket. Check 'em out if you're looking for something different to give.
This place is located across from Clackamas Freddie's (even though the address here states OC, it really is Clackamas). Pizza is okay, definitely not gourmet but it's just fine for kids. This location has a lot of space and has been good to hold end-of-season trophy parties.
Small but quaint, this "bar and grill" has good food. I have been here to sing karaoke on a Saturday night and the place gets pretty packed. Not far from the Woodstock neighborhood. Nothing exceptionally different, just another place to hang out with friends, sans kids. Kids are okay prior to 9pm but it can smell kind of smokey.
My girlfriend ordered take-and-bake pizza one night from these guys. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. You can also pay an extra 3 bucks (I think) to have them bake the pizza for you. They also take competitor coupons (think Papa Murphy's...). I recently found another location in Milwaukie which is close enough to deliver!
This is a close place to go for some beer, play pool, lottery slot machines and food. Of course, the longer you stay to enjoy the amenities, the food starts to smell really good. Probably not as good unless you are enjoying libations... :~) Still, it's a close place with easy parking so we head there now-and-again.
Just like any used clothing store, you need to search for stuff. If you have patience and the "eye" you can find something here. Easy location to find off of McLoughlin.
I like this place because I can buy 3 ounce paint samples in most Benjamin Moore colors. This has saved me from some diasterous results! :) The fellas are friendly and helpful. Easy to find location with parking.
This place has been around forever... it has a 50s diner kind of feel to it. The food isn't exceptionally wonderful but you go more for the diner experience. They have an annual "drive in" every summer where you can check out some cool older cars. The kids meal comes in a fun cardboard replica of a 50s cadillac.
These folks are super creative! Just take a walk thru their offices and you can see how colorful and hip it is -- inside an old building in NW Portland. Very professional. We've used these guys several times for business meetings where we have a working lunch. Each meal comes nicely prepared in it's own box (for sandwiches) with a napkin, bottled water, sandwich, dessert item, mayo/mustard packets + salt/pepper packets. Very Nice! The food tastes very good. Had a little trouble with a timely delivery because the driver was running late then got lost. Every other time has been an excellent experience. Highly recommend! Plus they have trays to cater your own party (from chocolate covered strawberries to mini sandwiches).
