Navy Pier
Going to the Navy Pier was fun. It seemed to me all you could really do was walk around, visit a few shops, and eat. It was fun looking at the boats, but they were expensive to go on.
Imax Theatre Rivercevter
We always visit this store in the mall at the river. We don't always see a movie, but we always buy something neat in the store part. They have some really neat things. We have seen a movie there, but I don't remember which one it was. It was fine though. We'll be back.
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
This isn't the biggest zoo, but it's still a great zoo. It will have most of the animals that you can think of. It's just gorgeous also. The landscape is pretty. Don't miss feeding the giraffes and the nice gift shop. Also, you should get a pass if you have small kids.
Rio San Antonio Cruises
We always love taking the river boat ride through the riverwalk. You should really take it twice. Once during the day and once at night. It is well worth it. It's very different each time you take it, especially if it's some sort of special occasion or holiday.
John G. Shedd Aquarium
This aquarium is huge and so cool. They have so many fish and aquatic life that it's hard to see it all. I especially liked seeing the dolphin show with the lake in the background. It's set on a great location on the lake.
La Quinta Inn & Suites By Wyndham San Antonio Riverwalk
We stayed in the La Quinta and we were happy with it. The beds were comfy and it was clean. We could even see fireworks from our hotel window. (We were there New Years Eve). We'll go back.
Hard Rock Cafe
We always love going to the Hard Rock Cafe. It's so much fun. The clothes and posters and music and everything is always fun to look at. The service is usually really good as well. The food isn't the best I've ever had, but it is good and we will be back.
Lands' End
This store has lots of nice items. You can get swimsuits, shoes and towels here as well as clothes of course. The Lands End products are always very high quality. You will not be disappointed. My mom always insists on visiting the store when she's in town.
Stefan's Soccer Supply Inc
This is a great store to buy anything related to soccer. I'll sometimes just go in to browse and see what's on sale or for a birthday gift for my son. Things seem a little pricey in there, especially jerseys, but sometimes you can catch some kind of a sale. The people who work there are always nice and helpful.
Goodwill Industries
This is a good store to find many different items besides clothes, shoes, or furniture. I've also purchased books, wine glasses, and baskets. The store isn't real clean, but a huge volume of people go through there.
