La Verne, CA
My son loved this place when he was little (and the train too) and now my daughter loves it! We easily and happily spend $21 each time because she likes to ride multiple times. The loop is long, the ponies are remarkably well-trained (they are loose--- not tied) and gentle, and the workers are nice, friendly and understanding. The guys let my daughter trade ponies on light days (mostly weekdays--- weekends are crowded) and even pick which one she wants. The only drawback, the place needs a major makeover. The ponies are healthy but need better grooming, new halters and blankets, and the place could use some paint. A nice touch would be to have the ponies names somewhere, like on the halters or saddle.
