I have to agree with Amanda...this place is awful.
It's located in the center of Olive Branch, so you would think it would be convenient if you had a minor medical issue you need attending to.
But you'd be wrong. You wait forever, they do an awful job of maintaining your records, and it figuratively and literally cold in here.
Might as well go to a minor med clinic in Memphis.
The Melting Pot, while it may be a tad bit overpriced, is just a wonderful concept.
I imagine only really large cities would have an assortment of fondue restaurants, so the Melting Pot brings to the table something truly unique to most diners.
Anyway, be careful here. My husband and I have a tendancy to order more than we can eat. And you MUST save room for dessert.
Athletic Shoes Etc. is a really great store, offering shoes and apparel for runners, football players, soccer players, whatever.
I especially like their selection of athletic wear. Most stores focus moreso on the shoes, but if you're looking for good performance wear, come here.
Breakaway is a pretty cool place to go to find the right pair of shoes for your feet.
The employees are obviously runners because they have proved that they know what they're talking about. They even have this really cool technology there that you can step on and it helps you figure out what kind of feet you've got so they can match you with the right shoes.
Very good shopping experience here.
Eegee's is a local fast foot joint here in Tucson that serves up subs and grinders and delicious slushes. You can even get a bucket full-o-slushee to share at the office.
Good place to go on your lunch hour for a cheap bite to eat.
Sauce (unlike what was reported below) isn't locally owned at ALL. In fact, I think this joint is teamed with P.F. Chang's and the like.
You can tell because there isn't at all a locally owned feel inside.
Anyway, the pizza is decent. Nothing to write home about, though. In fact, it's a tad bit greasy. But the odd combination of toppings is what might draw one to try this place.
Price is reasonable, service is fair. Come on your lunch hour, but go some place better for dinner.
Bluefin is admittedly a pretty cool place to go for sushi. Not the best sushi, and not the cheapest sushi, but it's the coolest to be seen at.
Anyway, come here for the environment and for the really awesome assortment of dessert (rare in most sushi places). Best when you bring a group.
Jillian's is an adult Chuck E. Cheese, essentially. They have food, a bar, entertainment (usually of the sports variety), bowling, a big arcade upstairs, a club, and billiards.
Pretty sure it exists in numerous cities, but it is a great destination for the big kids on a Saturday night.
Also, the service here is pretty good. Parking isn't always convenient if there's an event downtown, but if you park in one of the Peabody garages, make sure to get your ticket validated! Or you'll be paying an event fee even if you just came to get dinner.
Texas de Brazil is absolutely delicious churrascaria.
The idea is that gentlemen walk around with assorted meats on a spear and bring it to your table. And this isn't just any meat...it's delicately marinated and prepared over open fire. They have beef, lamb, pork, Brazilian sausage and you can have all you want at a base price.
However, the base price isn't cheap, so save this place for special occasions (like when you're hungry for meat).
And if you don't do meat, the salad bar is quite extensive, as well.
Really cool experience.
Chuy's has a pretty good menu, and the price is fairly reasonable. I myself like the chipotle shrimp fajitas.
The highlight is the chips and salsa bar.
However, my biggest complaint is that you have to take your drink to the counter for a refill...there isn't actually a server to handle your drinks.
Come if you enjoy self service dining.
