Agawam Congregational Church
The Agawam Congregational Church is a small, cozy church that welcomes everyone. They also are home to a Boy Scout troop and MaryAnn's Dance Studio. We've been there a few times. The people there are always nice.
Red Door Theatre
The Red Door Theater is a small, but nice theater that focuses on children's productions using local actors. The prices are very reasonable and the productions are always good.
New York Aquarium
We traveled over 2 hours to go to the NY Aquarium so that our daughter could attend an education program. The aquarium is small, but it was enjoyable to walk around and look at the different displays. The people there were very nice and our daughter had a great time.
Nathan's Famous
Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs offers their namesake and a whole lot more. The food is casual and fun and kid friendly. Prices are reasonable. Seating is limited so don't be afraid to stand and enjoy your food.
New York Botanical Garden
The New York Botanical Garden is a beautiful place to spend a day. They have numerous plant varieties to enjoy in the 250 acre garden. They offer family events and how-to clinics. This is a great place to get lost in your thoughts. Admission is very reasonable.
Bethany Assembly Of God
The Bethany Assembly of God is a large church that brings people from all over, especially for their living tree program. I am impressed that they offer a soup kitchen for needy members.
Southwick Assembly of God
I've attended several functions at the Southwick Assembly of God. The people there have been very nice, although I did find some of the sermons lengthy. I didn't feel pressured by anyone.
