Punderson Oil is an outstanding business. We recently lost our heat late at night while I was at work. My husband called Punderson and they tried to trouble shoot over the phone with him. They ended up coming out and were so friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend them.
Edward Driving School
I took my driving classes here 21 years ago, and know my nephew goes here. He loves it, they take him driving on the interstate, and on the back roads. Edwards is priced like all the others, but what makes them better is the area you practice around is the same area the actual test is. Phil is the instructor and he takes his job seriously.
Lynn Ladder & Scaffolding Co
Lynn rents ladders and scaffolding to business and the public. If you are painting the exterior of your house and need a forty foot ladder, call them. I used them last christmas and rented two layers of scaffolding to wrap my two story chimney with 1100 red lights. They dropped off and picked up, although it did take them two weeks to pick it up after i called them
Richard's Giant Grinders
Richards is the place to go for a quick lunch, they always have six or seven workers there at the lunch rush, so you are in and out. The grinders are made right in front of you, and you can see all the fresh vegtables. Plus they have a beer license. I also have never ever heard any gripes about this place
Dave's Truck Repair Inc
Dave not only has a great service shop, but he also has a road service van that rescues the big rigs. Early spring i broke a line on my air brakes and he was there in 40 minutes. Of course we paid through the nose (350) but that is expected for emergency service. What makes him good is his response time and vast experience in trucks from bumper to bumper
Fox Hill Ctr
Our great aunt Rose was a resident here for 2 years until she passed on this summer. Every time we visited her we were greeted with smiles and welcomes. Rose always had something going on in the facility. Whether it was games in the day room, or all the different guests, to getting her hair and nails done, she seemed very content there. We all know how depressing nursing homes can be, but a great staff of good, caring people makes it easier to deal with.The residents of Rockville are very lucky.
Arties Place Restaurant Incorporated DBA Arties Subs and Pizza
My buddies and i stopped here for lunch, before going golfing. I have never seen a bigger grinder in my life, his 12 inch sub is actually 14-15 inches and piled high with meat and fixins. I personally had a steak-n-cheese which i couldn't finish. Eight dollars for a 12 inch grinder is more than reasonable when you can finish it for dinner.
Perkins Restaurant & Bakery
We ate here twice while visiting my cousins in germantown. It's right on the main drag, and popular, so both times it was very busy. If you go here expect some of moms home cooking, nothing fancy, just basic food dishes that taste great. Quick service and daily specials for a blue collar budget.
