Hula Halau O Makalapua Marama
i used to take classes from here when they were on gellert by the round table. it's a family owned business and the classes were fun. you can learn hula and ori (tahitian dancing) and you get to learn how to make your own costumes.
Wong's Cafe
i haven't been to wong's in a really long time. it's on hillside in a pink building on a corner. i've never eaten here, i've always got the food to go. but the food even after a trip in the car is pretty good. i've never had a complaint.
Fung Wong Chinese Restaurant
i've been to this chinese restaurant twice. i've pretty picky when it comes to chinese food so when i first came here i was really leery. but i was surprised, i really liked the food.
Royal Donut Shop
this donut shop is the very first place that i ever had a tapioca drink as a kid. and they have most of the flavors that you'd find in a chain tapioca place like tapioca express. and being a donut shop the donuts are pretty fresh and really good
Sheng Kee Bakery
sheng kee bakery is well known among the asian community. they sell asian pastries such as pork buns and custard buns. they even have mouses and sponge cakes. i haven't heard a complaint yet.
T C Pastry
dim sum is great here and i don't have to go all the way into the city, and fight traffic and drive all around for parking to get here. and best part is if you are on the go and want to eat you food at home you can order to go.
Red Ribbon Bakeshop
the filipino pastries are great. but, i mostly like the cakes. they are very light and fluffy and don't weigh you down after the meal. my family likes to bring these cakes to family parties
Huf
this store has a lot going for it. it has skateboards, clothes, hats, and shoes. ever since it has opened people have been talking about it. they recently had a really big sale and i was able to get 2 pairs of pretty exclusive shoes for less than $50
Upper Playground
i love this store. the have clothes for both men and women. you can find a lot of san francisco gear from san francisco artists and a lot of san francisco love in general. so if you love the city as much as i do, but don't want to wear childish looking clothing, you can come here
Fresh Apparel
this store just opened up recently. they sell a lot of clothes that teenagers wear from bay area clothing to ed hardy clothing. so if you shopping for teenage boy this may be a good place to check out
